If I just had some powder form of, say, potassium, and sprinkled it over a live camp fire (with wood), will it turn purple? Also, do these chemicals all come in powder form? I've never paid attention in chemistry, which I am starting to regret. Thanks for your answers :)!

I have no access to high places, so that's out of the question. Unfortunately, I have no firearms either. I do want to die in an undramatic manner. Soundlessly, painlessly, spontaneously... Maybe I'm better off just waiting till one of these cigarettes finally give me cancer. Anyone know how to die painlessly with limited resources? I would like it to be painless... and clean, if possible.
