  • Headlight is out on my 2002 Honda Accord?

I replaced the bulb, but it still doesn't work.

What else could it be, and it would be reasonable for me to fix?

  • My Car shakes on start and bogs down when I stop at stop sign?

I'm driving a 2005 BMW 325 I with around 125k miles on it. This morning, the car shook when I turned it on, and the check engine light came on. Driving to work, the car bogged down when I slowed down at stop signs.

It seems to shift smoothly, so I don't think its the transmission, but I don't really know.

Any ideas what is going on?

  • Websites wont finish loading?

Ive actually tested my connection, and I get roughly 6mbps/sec down. I have great transfer speed, but when I open a site, it either wont load, unless I refresh, or it won't finish loading. I've run spybot, ad-aware, ccleaner, etc.

I am on DSL, and I recently replaced my modem.

  • Trying to host website for a client and transfer a domain..?

Okay, maybe a webmaster with a little more experience can help me out here.

I have been contracted to design a website for a client. She wants to maintain control over her domain name as she has had problems with a previous web designer going missing and her going through massive hassle to get her domain name back.

    1) Can she register the domain, but I host it?

    2) If so, how would this process work? She is not very web savvy, and anything too technical is out of the question.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Lawnmower louder than normal after oil change?

I changed the oil in my Briggs and Stratton push mower and it seems like its twice as loud as normal.

The oil I removed was black. It coughed and spouted out some smoke upon start up, but then started running.

Is there something wrong with the engine? Is this thing about to explode? Or can I just go ahead and use it??

    Thanks in advance.

  • Indoor Outdoor Thermometer - where do I place the sensor?

I have an Accurite thermometer. It has an outdoor sensor on the end of a wire that is sticky.

Do I stick the sensor to the interior of my window, or put it on the outside of the window? I put it outside, right? The "manual" doesn't say.

    Thanks!

  • Dont you like how rioters in Serbia..?

..attack the US embassy? As though we orchestrated the Kosovo independence movement?

Its like when the Danish cartoonist drew pictures of Muhhammed, and all the Muslims went nuts and started burning the American flag - as if we were even remotely responsible for it.

Do we get the blame for everything or what?

  • Isn't Ted Haggard proof that homosexuality isn't a choice?

Since Haggard basically made such strong stands against homosexuality, why on earth would someone like him 'choose' to be gay?

Sen. Larry Craig is another example of someone who routinely bashed gays and tried to pass legislation against them - yet he turns up trolling for sex in a men's room.

Isn't this evidence that homosexuality is indeed not a choice?

And if you contend that it *is* a choice how do you rationalize why people who are so against gays would make that choice?

  • What Wii controller to buy?

My parents asked me what to get for my step daughter for xmas. We bought her a Wii and suggested that they buy her a 2nd controller, but apperantly there are multiple types of controllers.

Which type of Wii controller would be best?

Is it a good idea to get another controller? Should I have them get her a different accessory?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Car troubles - car stutters when going uphill?

1999 Grand Prix, 135,000 miles, automatic

The car usually runs just fine. But when I go up a hill at a certain angle, my rpm gauge starts fluttering back and forth and my car starts lurching forward and back. Its not anything major, but I can definitely feel it.

This usually happens when the car is accelerating up the hill, and its on the verge of shifting into a higher gear. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Anyone know what this is? Is this something to be concerned about?

  • Larry Johnson or Derrik Ward? + QB question?

Johnson v Denver, Ward v Dallas.

Johnson has been consistently mediocre this season, and I can probably get some points out of him, but Ward is hot. What do the experts think?

Hasselbeck vs SF or Derek Anderson v Pittsburgh?

Anderson has been better this year, but Pittsburgh has a great d.

  • Hasselbeck or Bulger?

Toughie since they are playing each other this week. Bulger has been out, and his o line is crap, but Hasselbeck has had some dismal games lately.

Is Bulger likely to bust and have a big game? Or will Hasselbeck have the better game. I have about an hour to figure this out.

    Thanks in advance!

  • What issues that your party believes in do you NOT agree with?

    Ill start.

    I'm a democrat but I disagree with:

    - Affirmative action, I see it being both racist and condescending towards minorities

    - Hate crime legislation - because I think its an attempt to regulate a state of mind

    - Abortion - I see it as taking a life

    - A border fence. The Chinese built the Great Wall to keep the Huns out and it worked, the Israeli's have built a fence which has been fairly successful in keeping suicide bomber out, we should build a fence to secure and control our border.

    - I'm not convinced on Universal Health Care.

What issues do YOU disagree with, that your party supports (or vice-versa)?

Trying to find some common ground here.

  • Pain in my jaw.. could it be a wisdom tooth?

The pain is coming from an area below my ear. I cant open my mouth all the way without some pain and discomfort. When I do open it all the way, I hear a dull popping sound. It hurts a bit when I chew, but its not intense, its sort of a dull, throbbing.

    - Does this sound like a wisdom tooth?

    - Do they normally require surgery, or will it just bother me for a stretch, then go away?

    - I dont have dental insurance, how much would this type of surgery cost if I do need it?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Is this a good reason to set a 'time table' for getting out of Iraq?

The average Iraqi soldier gets 4 months off a year, in comparison to 2 weeks for US soldiers. Whenever there is a problem, the Iraqi military defers to the US military to solve it. Basically, the Iraqi military are NOT well trained, not prepared to fight, and I believe this is because they simply dont have to. There is a competent army behind them that allows them to shirk any responsibility, and sit on the sidelines while we fight their battles. If we are waiting for them to be ready to run their country before we leave, we will be waiting a very long time. But if we started setting dates, this would pressure them into getting their act together.

Some argue that setting a time table for getting out just gives the terrorists and insurgents a date to shoot for. But at the same time, it gives the Iraqi military a date to shoot for as well, in terms of preparing to police their own country. They are not getting ready on their own - so maybe they need a fire lit under them.

  • Hasselbeck vs SF or Bulger vs Dallas?

Im leaning towards Hasselbeck, since St. Louis cant protect Bulger. But Bulger has more potential to break out and have a huge game. My opponent has Romo, so im also tempted to put in Bulger for that reason, and get super fired up about that game :D

Bulger used to be money in the bank, but the guy isn't doing it this year.

  • Jamal Lewis or Larry Johnson?

Im struggling with this one. I would lean towards Johnson - I feel that he is the better back, and has a decent matchup against Minnesota - but he hasn't produced much this year.

On the other hand, Lewis has produced, and also has a pretty good matchup (vs Oakland), but I dont feel he is capable of having huge games anymore.

Should I hope Johnson has a break out game, or should I stick with the more consistent Lewis?

Also, Crumpler vs Carolina, or Shockey vs Washington?

  • Car is running hot, cant figure out why.?

My car about overheated the other day when I was idling. My coolant level looked low, so I added a bit. I drove to work today (about a 25 mile commute). On the highway, it was OK, as expected, but when I slowed down at lights, etc, the temp got pretty hot again - it didn't go into the red, but it got hot enough to worry me. If its not the coolant, what could it be? Could it be a clogged air filter restricting air flow?

I havent had an oil change or my filters/fluids replaced in 2 months.

    Other notes:

    - The car has said 'Low Coolant' for about 2 years, despite it being filled to the proper level (mechanic told me that it was a bug and to ignore it)

    - There is a thermometer on the car that prevents the AC from coming on unless it is above 40 degrees. This thermometer is broken - It says that its 25 degrees outside, and wont let the AC come on, even in 100 degree heat.

    99 Grand Prix, 130k miles

    Thanks in advance!
