I only want a greeting page to tally who accesses it so I can keep count (they would have PW beforehand). I would think this would be something simple to do.

ok peeps here goes. my friend brought me this laptop. I turn it on and it looks like a 1985 Nintendo game blew up, the screen is all scrambled. external monitor can't get a signal out of it so no matter what i do i can't see what is going on (which makes me rule out broken screen) it does not appear to be loading windows at all, and it would not boot my linux disc either, any ideas?

Long story short; my friend got his mom's computer after she passed. it has mygait on it. this program is really annoying to work around and i wanna remove it and just run regular old xp which is hiding behind it. Mygait is not listed in the add/remove programs. that was the first thing I attempted. I am trying to find a way to get rid of it without wiping it (driver hunting sucks). It also has itself in safe mode

Someone tell me they have dealt with this annoying program before and know how to make it go away

these 2 computers look cosmetically the same and i am wondering if the screens are interchangable as the mac book crapped out but the power book is still running like a champ (minus the busted screen)

I have noticed a lot with windows7 how it has a very hassle free way of loading all your drivers for you after install. I want something like that at my disposal. The only other time I have seen anything like that is when I see pirated windows stuff (which i have no need for). I think something like this wold be great when having to reformat xp and vista computers. does anyone know where some freeware like that could be found?

Ok so I turn this thing on and it appears that a whole lot of nothing happens. I can get no display out of it whatsoever, external or otherwise, which is making it very difficult to figure out the problem

I have been seeing some really cool seat covers for cheap but none of them appear to work on integrated seatbelts, does anyone know a way to convert them so I don't have to buy one for that has a ridiculous price? My truck is a 2005 F150 extended cab. I am just trying to do the front seats

I just bought Star Wars TOR. after installing it is telling me that i need to get a subscription. It comes with a free month but it is not recognizing this fact? How do i fix this without dumping more money in this game?

First off I wanna start off by saying im 99% positive this isn't a virus. I have ran malwarebytes and hitman pro with no hits other than adware from mywebsearch which wouldn't cause this issue. This laptop (lonovo thinkpad WIndows XP Home) runs just fine as long as it is offline. about 2 mins after connecting to the internet (don't even have to open a browser) it becomes practically unresponsive. can't bring up the task manager or anything. I tried resetting the internet configuration and that didn't make a difference, different browsers had no effect and I am running out of ideas. I have never seen anything like this and I really don't wanna have to reformat this thing (at this point I am unsure if that would make a difference)

Does anyone know how to fix this cause I am stumped.

someone just called me with a question about their macbook pro saying that when it goes to sleep, the screen lights up then fades to black after 30 seconds, does anyone know the cause of this and how to go about fixing without having to pay $200 an hour to a mac tech?
