  • Lowlight, indoor photograph with no flash?

I was hoping there might be some more experienced photographers out there who can help me. I was recently at Dragon*Con in Atlanta attending a panel. This is what I was using:

    Model: EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi

    Shutter Speed: 1/25 second

    Aperture: F/5.6

    Focal Length: 250 mm

    ISO Speed: 800

It was dark and we weren't allowed to use flash. My question is, how can I take good indoor photos without flash? What lens is best for indoors, if any? I know lighting is a key element in taking great photos but sometimes you just can't change what you have to work with. Any help is much appreciated!

  • Why won't Bioshock run?

I recently bought the first Bioshock and installed it. Whenever I played, the sound was HORRID, but I downloaded a patch and voila, everything was fine and dandy. After a few days of playing I took a break. Nothing too long, just a few days. I decided that I wanted to finish it, so I put in the disk, hit play, and wait, but I get an error that says "Bioshock.exe has stopped working." I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, went to play, but the sound was messed up again. I downloaded the same patch I installed previously, but once I install it I get the same "Bioshock.exe has stopped working" error. What is the problem?

    I have a Dell Inspiron 546

AMD Sempton Processor LE-1300 2.30 GHz

    8 Gigs of RAM

    Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

ATI Radeon HD 4350 video card

and an ATI High Definition Audio Device.

Hopefully I've given enough info to get some answers to my question, because I really LOVE this game and I can't wait to play it again ^_^

  • What can you tell me about Kindle?

I am seriously considering buying one, but I wanted a few opinions on them. I've read dozens of reviews, and from what I can tell it seems like something I would love, but it never hurts to get more information ;)

  • What kind of jacket is this (pictures)?

I'm shopping for a new jacket, and I love the one that Emily Deschanel is wearing in these pictures:

Now, I probably won't be able to afford it, but I would still like to know what it is, and maybe similar jackets that are less pricey? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
