I'm an IT major finishing up this year. I'm currently interning as an IT tech and will hopefully be doing something similar with better pay next year. I'm a first degree black belt in Hwa Rang Do karate, similar to taekwondo. I'm working on my third martial art.

  • Changing my product key on XP...?

Well, I've tried both methods commonly seen using regedit, and a script. Neither of them are working for me, does anyone have any other tricks that I could possibly use? Thanks.

  • Sig P225 magazine in a P6?

I was just wondering if a magazine from a Sig P225 will fit in a P6. Every P6 mag I find is well overpriced and I know the P225s are cheaper, but I've been seeing a rubbing bottom on them and was wondering if it would involve removing that piece as well. Thanks.

  • Concealed carry, multiple weapons?

I've been looking around and I can't seem to find anything on concealed carry with multiple weapons. I don't really plan on it, but it poked my curiosity. I live in Washington state just in case there are laws for other states about it. But I'm just wondering if anyone knew anything about that.

  • Fully automatic weapons in WA?

My buddy and I are having a debate whether or not fully automatics are legal to own in Washington state if you go through all the hoops. If you could provide a government site or something that would be great too.

  • 2000 subaru legacy head gasket?

My girlfriend's legacy needs a new head gasket, but I'm questionable about the shop she goes to. I have no doubt that it needs to be replaced, but the cost their giving seems way over-priced. They said the estimation is $1400. I researched for how much it costs and used about $100/hour for labor, and that seems a bit much. So I'm just wondering how much it should cost and how long should it take? Thanks.

  • Free codecs for Windows Media Player?

I've been trying to play my DVDs on my computer but Windows Media Player keeps telling me I don't have the right codec to play them. I've installed the free version of DIVX (all parts) and it worked on one computer but not the other. I'm just wondering where I can get free working codecs for my movies so I can watch them.

  • Why do anti-gunners think...?

that if we get rid of all the guns that crime will go down? Seriously, stop and think for a second. If we get rid of all the guns, the only people besides the military and police to have guns will be criminals. You're essentially saying that all civilians won't have the right to defend themselves. The only thing criminals are afraid of are those of us who carry. They know how to avoid the police. They're afraid of that percentage of the population who carries concealed weapons. If they try to mug them, they're going to end up with themselves at gun-point.

Yes, I'm very aware that I am responding to violence with more violence. But in this world it's necessary at some points. You can't take away all the guns and expect all robberies and other sorts of crime to just end. Ever since Great Britain and Australia restricted guns their crime rates have gone up. Since concealed carrying went into effect our crime rate has been dropping.

I know another argument is that guns usually end up causing accidental deaths. Yes, I completely this is a horrible thing and should be put to a stop. Unfortunately this happens and people need to better place their guns. Guns aren't killing the people, it's people killing people. Look up how many deaths there are a year, then look at the percentage that have to deal with guns, it's a small number compared to everything else. So why not try to stop all the other deaths then?

The only reason I'm saying all this is because I'm getting sick of people trying to impede on my rights to protect myself.

Note: I'm a liberal, democrat and I support guns.

  • How do you pop a clutch?

I'm new to driving a stick shift and I recently had the battery die (head lights were left on). I got a jump but I've heard if you get it moving and pop the clutch and start it, it'll turn over as well.

I've never popped a clutch (unless it was on accident when I was learning to drive a stick). Can anyone describe how it's done? Thanks.

  • Hwa Rang Do in Seattle?

I was in Hwa Rang Do for 7 years when I was younger and I've started to look into it again. I had a great instructor and really want to find another good school in the Seattle area. If anyone knows of a good place or has a friend that might know, I'd be very interested in hearing some suggestions :)

  • Healing my lower back?

I've known how to lift properly for years and have followed it pretty well up until recently. I lifted a 21" CRT monitor at work and hurt my lower back. This was 6-8 weeks ago and it was feeling great up until today, I was hanging out at the park with some friends, we were throwing the frisbee around and such, and after a little bit my back started hurting again. I know some people are going to say "go to the doctor." I have no fear of doctors, I'd just rather not fork out the dough.

So my question is, what exercises and other things can I do to heal my back, I'm not expecting immediate results, but just things I can do for like half-hour a day that would help strengthen my back would be great.

If it makes any difference, I'm 22 and am going to start back karate again very soon for exercise purposes (within a month), and I've done karate previously for 10 years.

  • 184 Pin RAM in a 240 Pin motherboard?

I just got a computer with a motherboard that is made for 240 Pin RAM, I don't have any on hand, but I have some 184 Pin, will that run in it or will it not even boot up? I'm curious, cuz I'd rather not spend the 40 bucks on a 2 gig stick of 240 Pin when I could just use some 184 Pin that I already have.

  • how much are migranes related to sleep?

I've heard that migranes are a result of too much stress which can be caused from a lack of sleep. I don't exactly get the most amount of sleep, but I didn't have too many problems before this summer, and I've been regularly having migranes. Is it all really that closely related, has it finally caught up to me?

  • law about only driving with your right foot?

ok, i've been curious is there a law in place that states (while driving an automatic) that you can only use your right foot for both the gas and break pedal? i'm curious because my girlfriend is taking her drivers test soon and she uses both feet and we're not sure if she's gonna get docked down or anything. my dad taught me to use both feet and hassled me if i ever used my left foot. i can understand how it could be dangerous, but i really wanna know if it's a law or just something that we've all gone by
