My buddy woke up with this tattooed on him and has no idea what it is. Is this a band logo or something?

  • Are nicotine patches allowed at boot camp?

I ship for BCT in 4 weeks (US Army) and I'm trying to quit before I ship to get over the withdrawal. I'll still have about 2 weeks of patches when I ship since I'm starting now. I understand tobacco products are prohibited during boot camp, but will they allow you to use nicotine patches?

  • What is a hotmirer on hotornot.com?

I just set up an account and already got 45 of these things. What the hell is a hotmirer? Is it someone who rated me a 10, or like between 7 and 10?

  • Are the Raiders officially out of the playoffs?

If yes, explain. I'm not looking for some fan saying why/why not their team is better. I just want data that shows whether or not they're playing.

  • Can you prove that magic/psychic powers are real?

This is an open challenge. I'm currently in the city of Sioux Falls, SD. Northern side of town, near the freeway. I challenge any psychics/wizards/witches/whatever you like to call yourself to demonstrate their spooky powers to me. Post what you will be doing to my local area with your incredible gift in your answer. I say none of it's real, so here's your chance to prove me wrong.

  • What does a mormon's magic underwear do?

I saw my friend wearing it when he was changing his shirt. He said it keeps the devil from touching his special area. I think he was joking, but I really can't be certain. It looks kind of like long johns you wear when you're skiing. What does it do? Do you have to wear it all the time?

I am trolling. Let's see how many people post rants about how everyone tells lies about the mormon church without reading this sentence.

  • What the hell does a life coach do?

I've never met a poor person with a life coach. It seems like they could use them more than anyone.

  • Is trolling mormons on yahoo grounds for a slander lawsuit?

See my troll post on mormons for the example. I just got threatened with a slander lawsuit. I'm pretty sure there's no way I could get sued for that, but it's fun to ask.

  • Why do mormons have multiple wives and commit incest?

I read about it in the book of mormo, so don't dispute me. It happens all the time, mormons marry lots of women, then have lots of kids and marry their daughters and have kids with them, too. Why does god tell them that's okay to do?

I bet I could openly say I'm trolling here and still get lots of pissed responses. Mormons are dumb like that.

  • Why do europeans have such a smug attitued toward americans?

Every time I go to yahoo answers and check under politics, there's always a few people from europe talking about how we're a bunch of war mongers with no education. I think it's kind of rude to rail an entire country's population because of a few stupid people getting more camera time than everyone else.

  • Is there a way to avoid proxy baptism?

I understand that if the mormons are right, I'll still have the option to accept or decline it in the after life; but I'd rather just be dead and not get woken up for that. Is there someone I can write a letter to so the mormons won't bother baptizing someone for me after I die?

  • Why do mormons say they're christians?

Not a christian or mormon myself, but I grew up in a lutheran church in SLC, Utah. Mormons have a completely different story than what appears in the bible (e.g. God was a man who became a god later, he physically impregnated Mary, mortal men can become gods themselves) and it all conflicts. So why must they place themselves in the same boat as christianity when the differences in scipture and doctrine are impossible to ignore?

And please, no rants or walls of text about how "ignorant" I am. I'm just looking for a simple answer. If the question offends you, just move on to the next one.

  • How do I become an Army Ranger?

I finish training for 68W in october. I've been looking into airborne, but my recruiter (a Ranger himself) said with my scores and attitude, I would make a good ranger. Can medics go to Ranger School, or is it specifically designated for 11B and the like? If medics can go, what should I do to get a spot in Ranger School?

  • Can I go airborne? (Army 68W)?

I'm shipping to BCT in april. I'd like to go airborne, so I'm planning on studying as hard as I can and doing everything possible to be top of my class. Do medics normally get selected for airborne? If so, what steps should I take to improve my chances at a spot?

  • How long until I'm deployed after AIT?

I've enlisted in active duty Army and I'll be shipping to Fort Benning in april. My MOS is 68W and I'll be done with AIT in october. I know I'll be told of my duty station about halfway through AIT, but is there a way to know if and when I'll be deployed afterward? Does everyone get deployed to afghanistan now that we're out of Iraw, or are there other places I could be sent? My recruiter said I'll probably end up in an infantry unit if I'm training at Benning (since that's where 11X trains). Is this true or is he just guessing?

    Thanks in advance. Hooah!

  • Why do people have a bad attitude toward the military?

I've enlisted recently and a good deal of my friends and family are very proud, but it's been getting akward with some friends who disagree with the war in afghanistan. I joined because I want to serve my country and save lives as a medic. Why do people have a poor attitude toward soldiers when the decision to go to war was made by congress and not the individual soldiers serving?
