3 AnswersOther - Music9 years agoSome of my piano keys stick and sustain?
Some of them ( around the Middcle C octave where I play the most) stick ( hold down) and sustain for a while when others do just fine and come back up like normal. How can I fix these keys without having to call someone?
Its hard to get a good full staccato sound with them like that.
2 AnswersClassical10 years agoReligion and Spirituality: Can anyone name the tune this is?
This is a video on youtube of the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary ( Litany of loreto) in song. I've never heard of it being put into this piece before. Does anyone know what it is by listening to it? I really like this tune. ( I also love the prayer)
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality10 years agoI'm trying to think of this piece?
Its a choral piece, probably sounds like Bach or something. It is kind of dark, and gothic sounding. Its a serious song. I don't think Bach wrote it though. I'm just saying it sounds like him. Its pretty famous. You hear it a lot on commercials that are in slow motion, and are trying to be funny. You sometimes hear it on movies too. Its like a classical song.
Can anybody help?
2 AnswersClassical10 years agoThose who dont accept the trinitarian doctrine?
How do you interpret the passages followed?
1. The verse where the BVM goes to see Saint Elisabeth and Elisabeth says ' How is it that the Mother of my Lord should come to me?'. Even when Judges in the Old Testament( 2:1) mentions ' An Angel of the Lord'. ( talking about God, in Heaven at the time)
2. ' And he shall be called Immanuel; which translates ' God with us'
3. First chapter of John. ' The word was God... et cetera... And the word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us'.
4. Isaiah 9:6 says the child ( Jesus; the Christ Child) shall be called multiple names. Among these are Wonderful Counseler, Prince of Peace, and the Mighty God.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoCan anyone tell me the names of these songs? I have some but very little lyrics?
Today I was listening to 103.7 the FOX ( a rock station), and came on these couple of songs I like, but don't know.
The first one I know said the lyrics " Getting away with murder " a lot.
The second song, had a few lines that repeated saying " Save yourself from the lies of the beautiful people".
The third was tricky. It started of sounding like a big band, then moved to sort of an Orchestra, with lots of strings playing. Very cool. It was a rock song, it sounded kind of like Avenged saevenfold but I'm not sure. The only lyrics I could tell at some parts were the words " its just like a freight train coming alive".
Cany anyone help?
Thanks
6 AnswersLyrics10 years agoIt seems Atheists are more ignorant than I thought?
I asked a question concernig their thoughts on the tilma of Juan Diego, and half didn't know what it was. They also didn't know that it is not fake, or a vision, and can clearly be seen in Mexico. They also did not know that many non Catholic Scientists have tested the tilma, and found weird things. A Heart beat of a child was heard near the stomach of Mary on the Picture. Paint is not on the picture, there is no earthly known substance on the picture. Look it up.
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoSo Atheists, you don't have anything to say about the Tilma of Juan Diego?
Or do you?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoReligion and Spirituality: What song did these people put this litany to?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfuBy84eiC8

1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality10 years agoReligion and Spirituality, what exactly is going on in the UK?
I saw a video on youtube of numerous people robbing stores, and throwing things at the police. I saw comments to the video. People mentioning race, and riots and things. I do not know exactly what is going on, but it doesn't seem to me that race is an issue. If the government is having issues, I'm OK with people going to government owned grounds and protesting and rioting ( with out initial violence) if its a really good cause, and if its something the Gov needs to work on. But I'm not ok with people stealing things ( from privately owned stores by working citizens who are trying to make a living if I might add) and rioting at the officers, and then being cowards and run off when people try to approach them and hide their faces. They should stick up for what they believe in, if they are so into it. They should let them arrest them. Then they could actually be considered sane human beings. Then they could be considered people who were arrested and died for what they believe in, rather than people who are cowards for what they believe in. I'm not from the UK, so could anyone tell me exactly what's going on?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoAtheists, despite your rejection of God, which religion would you most likely join?
Or feel compelled to join? If you believed in God.
Also which sect of the religion ( Christianity: Protestant, Catholic; Islam : Shiite Sunni ; Judaism: Orthodox, non Orthodox.) I just want to know the religion, sect, ( details), and why.
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoCatholics the other day I answered a question about how long the Eucharistic Species stay the substance?
After entering our body ( stomach; digestive tract). I answered it saying it stayed the Body and Blood for about 15 minutes after consumption, because that's what I was always told. Is there any truth to this? If so, is there a part of the Catechism about this? Or did a Pope address this? He asked if there was a reliable source I could use such as the Catechism and I told him I didn't know because that's what I was always told. So is that true? Any sources?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoSo, who has more Power in a spiritual Hierarchy? The Pope or the Blessed Virgin Mary? In your opinion?
This question was mostly intended for fellow Catholics but anybody can answer as long as you don't start saying ' The Pope is a mere man. Like you and me. Nothing more.' And ' Mary is dead. She was asked to be the mother of Jesus. That's all'. As long as there aren't those kinda answers I'm ok.
I was just thinking, who would be considered the one who has the most power granted( entrusted) to them by God?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoCatholics, what Prayers do you like to say after we have recieved Communion?
After we receive the Eucharist and go back to kneel and pray I usually prefer : Anima Christi, Ave Verum Corpus, Adoremus, and O, Maria/ Mary. Which ones do you say? I'm used to saying these ( I know them by memory) but I'm looking for some more. Anybody have some more, that you might say?
Thanks. God bless

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoI know that people created Pastafarianism and the Church of the FSM as a joke, but do some people?
Actually take it seriously and believe in it? I mean I was looking on the vengenza ( or however you spell it)website ( hilarious and I love it by the way) people actually go out of their way to contribute to it. I know what Pastafarianism and FSM is, but do some people take it seriously? If they did then that would be a pretty stupid thing to believe in even though its so hilarious. Also, to members of FSM, can someone actually be a member, and sign a form and literally become a member? Also, can you belong to FSM and another religion at the same time? ( I'm not going to. I just have lots of questions. LOL. Its very interesting how someone created this. ) Is it technically considered a religion?
Thanks.
