I was at a restaurant on Sunday night with my mom for dinner. We got seated by a very pretty hostess. I thought I was just going to leave it at that, but it turns out that she was passing by my table a lot and staring/looking at me many times. She didn't even make it stealthy either, she made it obvious that she was looking at me and nothing else. My mom also noticed she was staring at me before we were seated and at the times I didn't see her staring myself. Even on our way out she looked at me with wide-open eyes and a slight smile.

So the next day (yesterday) I went back there myself with a brief enveloped letter I wrote for her. Basically telling her who I was and how she was really pretty and to call/text me at my number (no pressure though). She wasn't there, so I left it to the 3 employees at the desk to give it to her when she came into work, which they agreed to.

I haven't heard anything back as of now, but I'm curious about something. What do you guys think happens in a situation like this? I'm hoping they remembered to give her my note, or at least they may have a back room where they leave stuff for employees which she would find eventually... What do you guys think?

Ive noticed something wrong with my PC over the last year or so. Every time I update something (Java, iTunes, Chrome, etc.) things act up pretty badly. For example, if I update any of those things, my internet would act up. By that I mean certain pages won't load (I'd have to refresh once or twice), there would be random toolbars/plugins I didn't even ask for in my browser, anything that I stream (YouTube, pandora, etc) will stop loading randomly or buffer very slowly (it's not my internet speed that's the problem), and sometimes iTunes won't recognize my iPhone that is linked to it, giving me unknown errors. The only solution I've been using is System Restoring my PC to an earlier point to where it was working properly (it would have to downgrade my iTunes, chrome, etc.) The thing is, I need these things updated at this point, I can't have them downgraded anymore. Does anyone know why my computer does this to me every time I update anything? Any help will be immensely appreciated.

I have a regular pen kit that I use for my vapors. I've used 3 flavors so far (I only started vaping a month ago), and this one flavor I have that has melatonin in it seems to burn my throat whenever I use it. It's not my pen kit, because whenever I use my other flavors after that, it doesn't burn at all. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Like, why is this one juice I'm using burning whenever I use it?

My computer seems to have a problem with internet connections. I know that it's not my router because my computer acts up the same way when I use the internet at other places, and my phone and other devices work fine with those connections. Here's what's wrong:

Suppose I'm on YouTube, when I'm on the front page, a good portion of the pictures on the page won't load up as thumbnails and just show a little green/white icon. And then if I watch a video, I can't even watch 30 seconds of the video without it crashing with an error message.

The same stuff happens with other websites too. I haven't been able to download anything or send large emails lately on my computer. I still can through my phone, so that's how I know my computer is the problem. I can still browse the internet and stuff, but it frequently doesn't load the page properly and I have to refresh it, and I can't stream anything or download stuff right now.

Can anyone please tell me what could be wrong with it? I don't know if it's a software thing or if it's a problem with one of my laptop's parts.

Yesterday and today I was trying to watch some videos, but I can't even get 30 seconds into any video without it crashing and giving me the "An error has occurred. Please try again later." message. Has anyone else been having this issue? And if so do you know how to fix it if possible at all? Thanks for any good answers.

Mostly we've been talking about our day and how it's been going and about stuff we like. Personally I think she's really cool and at some point I want to ask her out, but I don't know if right now is the right time to and if it's appropriate.

To anyone out there who has good experience with relationships and friends, answer me this please:

Should I keep texting her every day? If not, how often less than that is ideal? Also, what are some other good things/conversations to spark to keep things going well?

If you live in southern California like I do, you've probably noticed that the temperature has been way higher than it has during winter the past few years. Personally, I don't like it, I'd rather have cooler weather, like the 60's around during this time of year.

My question is: does anyone know when or if the weather in SoCal is going to cool down soon? Like, what's going on with it? Is it going to get colder later on? Is summer going to be cooler than usual to balance it out?

Over the past year or so, I wasn't happy with myself or my personality/image AT ALL. What I did in 2013 was NOT be myself. I essentially started off on a blank slate again and let my close friends (who I trust completely) influence me, therefore picking up most of my current traits/behaviors from them.

I almost want to say I've been a puppet for the past year when it comes to what I was trying to do, letting other people change who I was into something better.

All I'm asking is, is there a proper term or word to describe this way of thinking that I had over the past year? Thanks to anyone that helps.

I currently only have Instagram, but I keep hearing things about Vine how people are getting famous off of it and there's more creative stuff on it than Instagram. I thought Instagram would overtake Vine with the video feature but it doesn't seem like it, at least not yet.

I'm just a little confused as to how these two networks are standing next to each other. Like, is one going to die out while the other keeps going? Or are they too different and just going to coexist for a while?

I don't like the simple cross fade animation when reduce motion is on, so I want to turn it off again, but I'm wondering does it really kill that much battery?

I have a friend in college who is really good looking and he's a great guy and all, but over the year that I've been around him, he's gone through about 5 or 6 girlfriends (all of the girls broke up with him on their choice). The reasons for this were vague in each case, but I have a feeling it's because my friend might be too clingy/attached to them.

For example, with his most recent girlfriend, he took every single opportunity of free time to go see her, and when we would go somewhere to eat in between classes, he would always bring her along and pay most attention to her and being extremely flirty with her (basically making me feel like a 3rd wheel). And when they weren't with each other, he would text her almost nonstop, talking about such small things, like what they were doing at that exact minute and such.

Basically, my question hopefully to be answered is: If talking with your girlfriend constantly causes break ups, how much time out of the total should be spent talking/hanging out with them?

I'm just curious how much distance should compliment a good relationship.

I just saw the newest episode of Family Guy where Brian came back to the show. As much as I love that he's back, I'll miss what Vinny brought to the show also. Plus, I was looking forward to a two dog family in that show. I read somewhere though that Tony Sirico (Vinny's voice actor) was confirmed to be a voice actor in 6 episodes, and only 3 with him have been shown. Could this mean that Vinny isn't done? Or do you think he's just gone? Thanks for any opinions on this.

So I've kind of fallen for this one beautiful girl who works at a Hollister (clothing store), but the past two times I've seen her there, I chickened out on asking for her number because I was just too nervous. I guess it's my fear of rejection and anxiety for what pressures I would have on me if she did in fact say yes and a relationship actually happened from that. But the main thing stopping me from fully talking to her is the fact that I have no idea if I would be putting her and her job at risk if I asked her out while she was on her shift, so I just don't do it, for the sake of being safe. I'm just wondering, do people do that? Do they ask girls out while they're at work? And if so, how do they do it smoothly? Thanks to anyone who helps out with this.

I've tried out this hair gel stuff called Johnny B Mode, a blue gel type product in a plastic tub/jar container. It's really strong and works with my hair perfectly, but the thing is, I have no idea where to find it. Anyone know what stores/places sell it? Thanks

I have an hp pavilion g7-1167dx from late 2011, and I just got water on the keyboard.. The display turned off a few seconds after. I ran a towel over the keyboard and took out the battery immediately. I tried turning it back on a few minutes later. The fan and disk drive seemed to run, but the display wasn't turning on, and the fan was going loudly. What's going on with my computer? Thanks to anyone who helps.

I have one weekly college class with her (Biology Lab), and I really like her, but it hurts that I only get to see/ talk to her one day a week. I want to get her number, but the only comfortable way I think I can do it is by asking if she wants to study together sometime. She told me she has a lot of spare time on Tuesdays between her classes and so do I, so that seems like a good chance to study with her and talk to her more. This is just a hunch, but I have a feeling she likes me a little (or at least she doesn't mind talking with me). So do you think this is a good way to get her number if my intentions are to get to know her more? Or is there a better way? Thanks to anyone who helps.

How is the fingerprint scanner working for you? For me, it works good sometimes, but other times it acts up completely and doesn't read my finger at all. Probably because the button is smudged by my finger scanning before, but I thought apple would have done better than that. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to get around it? I like the feature, but not it's poor performance right now.
