I am a 31 year old stay at home mum with 6 year old twin girls and 13 month old girl and another one due on the 10th Feb. I am from the Sunshine Coast QLD and consider myself to be a fairly open minded person. I am tolerant of most people and their circumstances as I believe our life experiences lead us all down different paths. You can normally find me hanging in the pregnancy and parenting area as that's what my life is all about at the moment. I also like to brows the jokes and riddles section as I like a good laugh.

  • Spongebob party ideas?

I am looking for some cool games and ideas for a Spongebob party for my 7 year old twins.

So far we are doing a Spongebob sponge bob (bobbing for sponges instead of apples), pin the pants on Spongebob and a treasure hunt and we are hiring a Spongebob jumping castle.

I am looking for as many Spongebob ideas I can find.

  • Bloody show.............................?

Ok so this may be a silly question but is a bloody show always bloody or pink or brown in colour.

I am around 35 weeks pregnant (have been given 3 due dates so not really sure). I am booked in for a c-section on the 9th Feb. I went to the toilet and found a rather large wet mucus patch in my under ware. I think I may have had my bloody show but I was wearing pink under ware so It was hard to tell if it had any colour to it but I don't think it did.

This is my third pregnancy but my first was induced and my second was a c-section so I have no idea what a bloody show should look like.

  • Red blotches on chest, stomach, neck and upper arms?

My 6 year old has just woken up covered in these red blotches. She doesn't feel or look sick and they are not itchy. Some are small and others cover large areas.

I plan on taking her to the Dr ASAP but it is only 6:50 am here and Dr not open for few hours.

I am mostly worried because I am 5 months pregnant and my rubella is not up to date and the Dr has told me to stay away from spotty children.

Anyone have any idea what it might be?

  • loose adult tooth after knocked?

My 6 year old has just knocked her mouth in the bath. She split her tongue top and bottom and her bottom adult tooth is now loose and the gum is bleeding. I would call a dentist but it is late Sunday here.

Will her tooth be ok or do I need her to have it looked at by a dentist. I am guessing that the gum will strengthen and heal and the tooth will be ok but I just wouldn't know.

  • How would you respond.?

I am 20 weeks pregnant with my 4th child (i have 6 year old twins and a 15 month old). When people see that I am pregnant I often get comments like"your not pregnant again are you"or "god are having another one" then they follow on with something like "well your a good mum I'm sure you will cope". It pisses me off! Why can't they just say congratulations and be done with it. I end up standing there saying yeah. How would you respond to these comments?

  • How would you deal with this situation?

Ok so here is the story. I am a mother of 6 year old twins a 15 month old baby and 3 months pregnant. My husband works from 3am to 9am and sleeps on the couch while the baby sleeps with me in the bed. For the past three months I have been in bed by 7:30 every night as I am so tired and you can grantee that as soon as my head hits the pillow the baby wakes up (that's when she ends up in my bed).

Now I am a very bad cook and my husband is a very good cook so needles to say he does the cooking. Yesterday he starts complaining that it has been a month since we have had sex and starts joking that he isn't going to cook for me again until I have sex with him. Well I thought he was joking but no. Last night he goes ahead and cooks for everyone but me. Now tonight I see he has organised every ones dinner but mine.

You could say I am slightly pissed off.

Do you think he has a right to do this? It's not like I am say no to sex but when your so tired and we don't even sleep in the same room it kind of makes it hard to do. I have tried to explain this to him but I am either saying it wrong or he just does not get it.

  • Must have wedding music?

My best friend has asked me to put together a play list for her wedding. I have a good mix of about 65 songs so far but would hate t run out of music half way through the night. So far I have everything from Elvis to Lady Gaga.

What songs would you recommend? I don't want mushy love songs but good party music for all age groups.

  • Another baby name question :)?

Ok so I have three girls Indigo-Bell and Lydia-Rae who are twins and Karlyn Lee who is 15 months. I now have to come up with another girls name (we have had our boys name picked since I was first pregnant with the twins).

So far I have come up with these

    Amelia Amy for short

    Josephine Josie for short

    Willow

Daisy (for some reason the name wont go away it just keeps coming back and I keep hearing the song everywhere)

So what do you think? Then I have the task of coming up with a middle name so if you have any ideas feel free to add them.

  • Nuchal scan.....................?

I am only 31 years old and my Doctor has given me a request form for a nuchal scan. I didn't question it at the time but since doing so reading I am beginning to wonder why he would want me to have one done. This is my third pregnancy, there is no history of down syndrome in my family and I thought I was too young for it to be a high risk.

I have contacted my Doctor to question the reason for it and am waiting for him to call me back.

Has anyone else had one done under the age of 35 and what was the reason for having it done?

  • Swine flu....pregnancy & Dreamworld. Would you go?

Our family has a 2 year world pass to dreamworld and we normally go about twice a month but since I am 2 1/2 month pregnant and the whole swine flu thing has come about we haven't been going. The kids could really do with a trip to dreamworld and I would love a day out of the house but I'm not sure if it would be wise to go. The Dr says after 14 weeks I should be fine to go but I'm not sure if I want to risk it.

Just wondering how many of you would go?
