I went to a restaurant a couple of months ago and ordered a salmon dish. I cannot quite remember what the sauce consisted of, but I do remember cooked black olives and spinach on the side, and a dollop of wasabi paste. One of the sides was also this chewy vegetable. I have never encountered it before and would love to know if you could help me out. It was small, round and was also slightly wrinkly. It had an orange-brown color. I am trying to remember the taste, it was very different. I want to say it was almost sweet. I loved the texture most of all. It was chewy, almost meaty. I've been trying to do research and the closest description I've read was eggplant. I tried looking up pictures of it, and the only problem is that none of the eggplant dishes have the small, round look to it. They're cut into cubes or strips.

Could anyone help me out in trying to figure out what vegetable this is? It would also be helpful if I could maybe see a picture.

I'm a Muslim convert, my name was Alexander, I'm changing it to the Arabic version which is Iskandar, is there a short form of this name, like Alex is to Alexander? Would it be Iska or Isa or Kandar? Any of those??? I like Isa for short but I don't know if that would be confusing with Prophet Isa (PBUH) and all. So in closing, is there a short form of the name Iskandar in Arabic??????????

I recieve SSD and SSI, today I got the CDR, continuing disability review, in the mail. I have been on disability since 2005 and this is my first CDR. Unfortunately for me, last month I was dropped by my clinic I recieve treatment at for my disability (schizo affective disorder level I) because I missed 3 appointments in a row. I am being screened to be readmitted and my place is garaunteed by my therapist however it still takes 30 days to readmit. I'm looking at sometime next month before I can see my doctors. In the mean time, the CDR is due on March 23rd, is it possible to get the due date extended so that I may fill out the CDR with my doctor and case worker? Also, in general, are there any tips for filling out this form? I was just hospitalized for a month last year because of my illness, and I continued treatment as an outpatient but due to lack of transportation I couldn't make the last few appointments, I know this will reflect poorly on me that I'm not in treatment at the moment, but it's not like I don't need it and it's not like my condition is any better, it's worse than it was in 2005.

My boyfriend bought me this really cool outfit. An orange t-shirt and blue pants with white high-top Nikes. Him and myself both feel like the outfit looks like a certain cartoon/fictional character. Any ideas that could help jog our memories?

I'm curious, how do producers in today's day in age do that effect on people's vocals in a song that sounds like they are stuttering? For example, in that song "Like a G6" it goes, Like a G6 like a G6 li li li li li li li li like a G6. Do they just copy and paste the the start of the word over and over again or is there a specific program or tool they use to get that sound?

Is there significance in Islam to being born on the first month ninth day in 1408?

I just recieved two beautiful two month old kittens four days ago. The female has a very defined face, with high cheekbones and almost a flat nose, her coat is mostly white with beige and black calico. The male is grey and white with black stripes on his head, legs, tail and a few small spots of the coat. He also has black spots on the grey patch on his back, with a couple distinguishing spots on his belly. :) They have very long legs and necks. I have no idea what the parents looks like.

Due to personal reasons I do not want to feed my cat processed food from the stores. I've heard of cat's getting addicted to Fancy Feast in particular. What are other ways I can go about feeding my new kitten healthy foods that will keep it nourished, besides these store-bought foods?

I'm just curious, say one person who wasn't very well known and rather poor had a theory that unified everything anything and all that is in existence and this theory had a practical application that could end the global energy crisis, stop the spread of AIDs, cure cancer, and take technology into the new era including other worldly travel, where should they send it to be used or tested?

I was wondering if it's possible to turn sound into a power source for a science experiment, my instinct tells me it can some how... any clues? My theory is that because sound is a wave, it generates energy at least heat energy and some motion, by converting this to another energy maybe it could be used to make electricity? I could only imagine the drum circles at Woodstock actually generating green power... this would be so cool if it could be done.

Now that we know the EMF frequency of the Earth is 783 hertz and the brain is usually at a similar wavelength does this mean that at lower hertz the plasma would sink below the various other waves in the air, if it was the same it would disperse in the air, and if it were higher it would rise and join the cosmic "void" (also plasma BTW) at the moment of death when this plasma leaves the body? If so, can we predict where it would be more likely to go for a given person? If yes, is this proof of a sort of "heaven" "purgatory" and "hell"?

If at the time of the big bang all existence was one, than existence was separated into two, giving birth to the push and pull, the positive and negative, the +electron and -electron, the proton and the nucleus, creating a grid of positive and negative forces (plasma), and although it appears the universe is currently expanding and this is indeed true, in actually it is going no where at all because the grid of life's energy is a constant not being created nor destroyed only seemingly changing while constantly remaining the same like a giant cosmic origami, so therefore you and I were never born but always existed and will return to the grid in another part of the universe when our electromagnetic generating brain no longer is functioning with the heart our machine to convert energy, and it's this source of plasma in our chase from the sun that keeps earth spinning and creates the illusion of 3 dimensions even though there's infinite on a totalitarian spectrum because everything, anything and nothing (anti-matter) combined is quasi neutral which makes the only thing in the universe that is not plasma the universe itself and thus form itself is emptiness and all exist as one which is neither form nor emptiness but an illusion?

I'm picturing magnetic shoes, with coils of copper wire, that are hit with a current to generate an electromagnetic field, then the field is broken by connecting the current releasing the stored energy and sending the shoes forward on an electro-magnetic jet?

How come people don't hear voices in their head saying good things? Like, "help yourself" and "help others" and "brush your teeth"? Why is it that people who hear voices always hear them saying bad things? If i heard a voice in my head it wouldn't say kill yourself, it would say "look shwaty got a phatty, you gotta beat dawg" and "hell yea you gone smoke that whole L to the face youll be as high as you ever been" not "kill the neighbors cat" etc.
