I'm thinking if becoming a Certified Financial Planner, but it seems the hook to do this is that you need to become a salesman first. I need to get my Mutual funds and Insurance license then I can contact people to make presentations. I'm dealing with a reputable financial services firm, but I would like to get a feel for how willing people would be to deal with someone who makes an unsolicited phone call to their home, selling financial services.

I am looking into brokering my own cab and would like to know from those who actually have direct knowledge, how much I might expect to pay for insurance.

I have just reunited with a dear female friend after a 25 year separation. I am still married and she is now single although going through a bit of a rough time. I want to take the opportunity to tell her how I felt and still feel. She is sort of 'The one that got away'. I don't really want anything from her other than friendship and am not in a position to do anything anyway. But I believe in being open and honest and would want to know if the roles were reversed. I'm in a bit if a quandy so good advice would be helpful.

I'm looking for a good quality site that I can use for target practice that's good to 90 meters/yards, but is also a tough piece of equipment that is practical to use for hunting. It's hard to pick a sight...there are so many and of the ones (Hunting/3D) that advertise distance they only talk about 60 meters/yards. I almost think I'm going to be forced to use a target sight with either a scope or a multi pin attachment.

These are combined Hi/Low beam lights. Just had both headlamps (Left and Right) replaced. Within 1 week the passenger side was shot again. The whole bulb had exploded, probably the tech touched the bulb when installing. So I installed a new one yesterday...this morning on the way to work the low beam burned out again, but high beam works. This is as it was before I took it into the shop to be fixed. Does any body know what would cause the low beam to keep burning out? Is it a poor quality bulb or something else? I have no problem shelling out $50 for a top quality bulb if I know it's going to work but I'm wondering if it is some sort of power surge related to the daytime running lights? Anybody have any thoughts or experienced the same thing? How did you resolve it?

I am trying to get my blood sugar levels into a normal range with exercise and diet. I am not on insulin or drugs and have not yet been diagnosed with diabetes but my MD is concerned about my fasting blood glucose.

What's frustrating is that I am really watching what I eat and controlling my snacking and have a Bedtime BG of 95-104 (5.3-5.8) and yet my FBG seems to consistently be 108-110 (6.0-6.1). Why...where is the glucose coming from if I have been at rest and haven't eaten for over 10 hours?

I thought it may be related to eating too late and/or too heavy a meal the night before and perhaps was still digesting after going to bed, but have watched and contolled what I have eaten during the last couple of days without any apparent impact.

I'm just curious about this. What would they be looking for in a relationship with an older man. I'm talking about a real relationship not the sugar daddy thing.

A friend of mine has asked me to attend a memorial service for a family member. I did not know the family member but am attending to provide moral support.

I have been to Funerals but never a Memorial Service. I'm not sure if I should just show up, or bring flowers or have flowers sent? Obviously a sympaty card will be sent.

What is the proper protocol in these situations?

I recently replaced the right front strut assemby and right outer tie rod end. Problem was alleviated to the point that I could at least drive the car. However, it still shakes at speed (Can't exceed 45mph unless I am coasting down a hill), and when climbing a hill, the steeper the hill, the worse it is. Adding power to try and get beyond 45mph on level roads starts the car shaing again. It's almost like when you have really bad tires and the car shakes from side to side..but I know it's not the tires as they are only 3 months old. There is a squealing noise in the front, like a rotational sort of sqeak.

I have a split driveshaft. The one on the passenger side where I am having the problems seems to have excessive play/slop in it, especially on the inner cv joint attached to the transaxle.

I'm thinking I need to replace this right half axle assembly and do a wheel alignment.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I have a heavy cotton sports uniform that has a blood stain on it. I've tried bleach and peroxide...but it seems to be fixed in the material. Is there anything else I can use to remove it?

You always see/here that you should make sure they are licensed and insured...but Insured for what?

I am self employed and do most of my work from my home office. I have two services to market.

The first is a Website design service.

The second Is a programming service...to just code to specs or assist in the design of an application and code to specs. I have particular talents (IBM COBOL focused, Visual Basic etc.). Why send the work offshore when I can do it from home?

I'm looking for ideas on how to target market my services rather than just the shotgun approach. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. My objective is to stay busy and keep marketing costs and labour to a minimum.

The secondary fermetation looks like it's just finishing and is ready to be racked for the second time. Been about 22-24 days since starting. I used a Red Wine concentrate but am trying to stay away from Clarifiers if at all possible. Right now the colour is a bluish purple and I tried to shine a flashlight through but can't seen a smidge of light. Do I need to be more patient and how long?
