  • Can I still become a professional programmer while having a piercing scar?

I'm eighteen and I really want a lip piercing (Snake bites). I'm aware of the scarring.

    My dilemma:

I plan on pursuing an occupation in computer science. Before I do that though, I'm going to have to save up money, attend community college, then transfer to a university. So It'll have years til I even try applying for my life career job.

  • Physics help?

Stephan Hawkins worked extensively with theoretical gravitational physics. He is well known for his work with black holes. He passed on March 14th, 2018. It has been observed that a certain star (S2) in the Sagittarius A* (meaning in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius) is orbiting a supermassive black hole. If the period of S2 is 16year and the distance between the two is 1.79e13m. What is the mass of this black hole?

  • Why to astronauts appear weightless while they are filmed performing activities inside the orbiting space shuttle?

    A. They are high enough above the earth’s surface that they have escaped the pull of earth’s gravity.

    B. The space shuttle has anti-gravity devices on it that allow the astronauts to float inside it.

    C. The astronauts are falling at the same rate as the space shuttle as it orbits around earth.

    D. Orbiting objects do not experience any gravity.

    Calculus questions?

    1. Show and/or explain that u = v.

    2. Find the component form AND the magnitude of the vector v with initial point (1, 11) and terminal point (9, 3).

    3. Write your answer as a vector in the form <a, b>.

    A. Let u = <7, -3> and v = <-2, 4>. Find 3v.

    B. Let u = <7, -3> and v = <-2, 4>. Find -8u.

    C. Let u = <7, -3> and v = <-2, 4>. Find u + 3v.

    D. Let u = <7, -3> and v = <-2, 4>. Find u - v.

    4. Find the direction angle for vector v. If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth of a degree.

    A. v = 8i - 10j

    B. w = -4i - 3j

  • Physics Problem?

An old car is traveling down a long, straight, dry road hill (angle of incline 7.00°) at 25.0 m/s when the driver slams on the brakes, locking the wheels. The car comes to a complete stop after sliding 44.0 m in a straight line. If the car has a mass of 755 kg, what is the coefficient of kinetic friction between the tires and the road?
