  • Why are so many people on here trying to start fights by pretending to be what they are not?

Why do you people change your side of the argument? One day your an Atheist who hates Christians, the next you're a Christian who hates atheists! The same people! One day you will ask "Why are atheists so dumb?" and say you're christian the next you will ask "Why are Christians so dumb?" and call yourself an atheist. Do you just want to insult every one and create hatred? Please stop! Or I'll make an effort to stop you myself!

  • Hey Celt, Did you know...?

Celt, you're being impatient with God, and part of that is cause you said you wanted to see my recourse's and when I sent you barely ANY that didn't approve your opinions you blocked me. All I asked for was a day. If you seek him, he'll come to you. Don't worry, I'll be praying! :) <3

  • It's an odd one. What does my dream mean?

First I will say I never watch horror movies as a rule.

I was at a grieving parents house. They had 2 teenage daughters missing. On impulse I jumped into the lake by there house and swam out to the middle. Swimming back I felt a hand under the water. I grabbed it and I put on a mermaid tale that helped me swim stronger and aster. I I was dragging it to shore when I felt another hand and I also grabbed it. It was like the hands were reaching up or help. I swam to shore and brought the bodies o there daughters to them. I put a bracelet on one that allowed her to talk and tell me who had killed her and her sister. When it came o she died again and her hand reached up at the sky and then bent awkwardly behind her head. Both bodies were very decayed. I put the bracelet on the other sister in hopes o bringing her back. she came to lie and I teleported her away so the killer wouldn't ind her and I made her a disguise and hid her in the vault o a bank where she'd be safe.

Then I went to hunt the killer so he couldn't hurt anyone else. I saw hum throwing 2 more young women's bodies into a lake, both dressed in cheap mermaid costumes that I imagined he had put them in as some sort o signature. I allowed him unseen and made myself look like a potential target. He took me on this elaborate lie o an "adventure" and back to his house that was filled with living young women. He kept throwing more bodies into the lake. I pretended to go along with his lies.

I thought I found a gun and tried to shoot him, but it was a water gun and so I convincingly passed it o as a joke. I let one girl out the window. I stayed to save the others. I went up to the attic which had several floors, all old and rickety. Then I realized that I had met this man on several occasions and I knew how he got his victims. He made elaborate scenarios where he convinced women they were going on adventures where he would sweep them off their feet. The attic had lots of language. I want back down and knew that I had to kill him. I then tricked him into a room and smothered him with a plastic bag.

  • Part 2: Answers on God form an Ex-Pegan/ Ex-Agnostic. What are your other questions?

If God is real, why aren't lives changed when people follow him?

People's lives are changed when they follow Jesus and I can speak for experience. I went form a self-serving, young Pegan, to someone who dreams of giving up all my possessions to become a missionary nun. I now seek to help other people, more often than I seek to help myself, especially in comparison to before. I can also, if you like, give you some words later form a friend of mine who was once an Atheist and wary much into violence who transformed after witnessing a miracle in a hard time in his life. He is now a Christian music rapper who is very kind and friendly, though we do have the occasional disagreement.

Who wrote the Bible? How did they know to write the story of Adam and Eve?

The Bible was passed by word of mouth till King David commanded the Torah be written.

The new testament was also passed by word of moth for a couple hundred years.

One was not allowed to speak of scripture till they knew it exactly by heart to keep it form being tainted. If one person got it wrong, they would instantly be corrected by many people whom also knew the scripture by heart.

Why is it "always" the woman's fault in the Bible?

It is not always the woman's fault. In fact, it is written that women are the true enemy to the devil and that that battle will continue till end times. It says the devil will bite at our heal and we in turn will crush its head from exactly where it is attempting to hurt us. We will stomp on it. Also, women in the bible are given a serving role with in the Bible is considered the most important role one can have.

    Why can't women be priests?

    Many are.

Why does being a man make you more "fit" to decide how things work and what goes on?

It doesn't. That is not a Biblical teaching. In fact, Jesus was disciplined and was helpless without his mother in his early years.

Why do Christians build luxurious chapels?

    Many do not.

  • Info on GOD for Ex-Pegan/ Ex-Agnostic. I'll do my best. Do you have any more questions?

I have taken notice to commonly asked questions about God on this page and I am not sure you actually want answers, but in case you are genuine, I am here to give you them.

    Where does God come from?

God is a complex entity, you see, God is within everything and everything is within God, a force like microscopic waves that both surround and go through you. One hard part about the concept of God, is to understand that unlike earthy things, God was not born, but always was. To quote the bible "I am the alpha and the omega." "I am the beginning and the end." See, God is bigger than the confined states of birth and death.

If God is loving, why would he condemn people to hell?

This is an interesting question. You see, I often stumbled on it myself in my early years of Christianity at 15 years of age. Then I discovered something, truly interesting. In the time of Christ on earth, there were piles of flame that dead bodies were thrown into, as not to make anyone ill. This is what the description of hell was based off of. Anyone who has read anything Jesus ever said would know that he likes to talk in riddles and prefers to leave people at cliffhangers, so there hearts will figure out the rest, or so is my belief. It is also said in scripture that "God is a God of life and not of death." This drew me toward the conclusion that hell is in fact death from a spiritual lack of nutrition of sorts, a supposed to eternal life, which would come form a soul that is filled. Now what could this nutritional lack of sorts be" I wondered to myself for quite some time. Then it hit me: Love. "God is love" "Love is the fulfillment of the law" and Jesus saying "Love thy neighbor" was the most important commandment. The lack of love withers the soul, wile an abundance of it keeps the soul alive. God does not torture us, he simply doesn't force himself on us, and if indeed God IS LOVE, then we know why someone without him would then die with the flesh. and because God will not force us to be around him if we hate him, he will let us chaos our own death over heaven, with him.

Why would God only allow a few chosen people who believe one doctrine to live forever when there are many people who are not good there and many people who are kinder and more understanding elsewhere?

Now here I will say it, I firmly believe Gandhi and Buddha and all the Dali Lamas, who I do believe are different people in spite of what I'm told of reincarnation, will be going to heaven. I have no doubts of this, and none of them were or are christian. Now, it's true Jesus said "None gets to heaven but through me," but what is "through me?" We Christians know that Jesus is the judge on the final day. He will decide weather or not we are going to heaven. That is what it means. If someone lives a life of love and charity, he already knows them, wile if someone claims to know him and is cruel to people, he in fact said he would tell them "I never knew you" and he will tell them to get away form him.

If god is real, why haven't I seen any proof?

You have. I am a believer in both creationism and evolution and this I will tell you, there is no more factual proof to one than the other. If you see we are here, just as you see fossils that look similar but change slightly with time, then, what other proof could you possibly hope to come by other than watching a creature evolve of witnessing a miracle yourself? The trouble with miracles, is they are seldom given if someone does not already have faith that God will grant them.

Aren't we our own Gods, and isn't is possible to believe you are your own God without being vain if Jesus did it?

Jesus could do miracles. There is even proof of him beyond the Bible, Greek and Roman writers declaring him a philosopher, a magician, and a demon. And yes, to view yourself as a God is entirely vain, and I man that in the kindest of ways since I know how easy wrongful pride is to slip into because I have done it. I myself confess to being a fool in the past and I strive each day both to never go back to that and to uncover what I am still doing foolishly. I even slipped in to the very action I am warning against there. How else would I know? There is always something with us people. It's true that people are not perfect, and that is understandable, but it is no excuse to indulge them when with effort they can be stopped.

Why was the God of the Old Testament so cruel?

The Old Scripture was a little off, that's one reason Jesus came to us. To correct us about beliefs of a God who cares more for tradition than people and domination than love. And the reason, I believe, that that one time God said to kill all women and children was to keep them from the scorn and possibly torture I am positive that they would have gotten in living in a land run by those they were waring against.

  • Am I an INFP or ENFP personality type, or both?

I am a loner and think deeply about why I do things, why others do things, the good I can do in the world, and I daydream allot. Around people, the right people, I get very hyper and loud. I love emotional conversations and am an exceptional poet, so I've heard. I go form being entirely full of myself to horribly hard on myself. I don't trust, though I used to trust everyone. I like being alone, i love being the center of attention. I need time to think and discuss philosophy. I'm obsessed with my goal of changing the world and would sacrifice everything for almost anyone. I see the good in everyone, but also see the bad and try to understand the cause behind the bad. I miss people, even mean people. I love everyone.

  • Can you please tell me what you think I should do about this situation?

My parents contradict themselves constantly. They say something, and then they say the opposite, just to disagree. It;'s very confusing and I'd just like to know if anyone knows how to deal when no matter what you do and no matter what you're told to do, your parents always say you should have don't the opposite, or you should think the opposite thing. So, if I have an opinion I developed form them telling me it is there opinion, then they will disagree with it and say opposite of what they said earlier just to disagree. And if I do what they ask, I never do the "right" way no matter how many times I change it up to what the last asked of me. I know it's probably normal of them, so I'm just wondering how to handle it emotionally cause I never really break any rules ever and I can just never attain that level of "good enough" that my parents will appreciate me. Even on moral things, like my mom says I should lie about stuff, and then if I do she doesn't trust me. Or she says do the laundry, but gets mad cause she wants to use the washer. Little stuff, But it's still really confusing for me. And I cant talk to them about it cause they are prone to panic attacks and will think I'm out to get them.
