I'm getting pokemon Black version 2 in october but I want all 3 starters I have a lot of oshawott and snivy in my pokemon black version 1 and I want to get a tepig in black 2 can I trade before the game is beat or do I have to beat the elite 4 if anyone has info plz tell me

I am getting pokemon green from ebay in a few days and I heard rumors on line like pokemon 731 and u dying at the end. I found out that some of these are just rumors like Lavender Town syndrome and trading from japenese green to english blue. Don't do it u may corrupt both files. But some things still remain in mystery to me. If anyone ever owned pokemon green or played it plz help me out with this.
