Recently it seems that China has shaked the world's economy. What's happening? What did they do economically?

I heard from my economics teacher that China changes its currency value whenever they feel they need to - I don't know the specifics, but I'm guessing they adjust it to their benefit.

I want to educate myself in this area. Is anyone can help, I highly appreciate it!!

I'm 17 and am turning 18 soon. I m not too sure what I should prepare for. Filing taxes? Bills? What responsibilities should I prepare for? Social responsibilities? Financial stuff?

Any advice on financial planning?

I ask my parents about this, but they always seem to change the subject, which isn t very good I think.

I have trouble socially connecting in school and it s bugging me. I think one of the main reasons is because of how focused I am about school and what I want to do in my life. I don t take my life as a joke and want to do everything that I can to reach them. I guess the questions are how can I not be so up-tight and become more friendly?

Btw, I do have friends and acquaintances. I just have difficulty in relating to people my own age (17) and being able to joke around and not be so serious.

Can a person who is so determined about their future career and their education be able to balance a social life and be able to connect with others?

In the Jehovah's Witness religion, what is said about blasphemy? Is it ever forgiven by Jehovah? If blasphemy is commited, does that prevent you from entering paradise?

Hi I am turning 17 soon. I haven't even played the sport. I am very serious in playing and want to so bad. I'm planning to take lessons soon in about a month or so. What do I need to do? Or is it even realistic? I'm still in high school, a senior actually. My mom told me to get serious and just discouraged me straight out. I've watched Wimbledon lately and I keep hearing that most of the best have been playing since like 7 or 13. Do I really have a chance? I really want this. And what does it mean to be a professional?

I mean freaking 13 and 17 year old are already pro like Reilly Opelka or are getting there. I just touched a racket yesterday.

Honestly, I believe that I can achieve this but it will take time and a lot of concentration on this. Has anyone else accomplished this?

How would this affect my academics? I eventually want to get a Ph.D. involving physics. How much is it going to affect it?

What are some colleges that are great for science majors or engineering majors? I really like physics and biology and hopefully will master in physics or astrophysics or maybe microbiology. Petroleum engineering is also my interest too.

What the hell happened? I heard there was a scandal about how one of the sons had inappropriately touched one of his sisters, but is this really true? And which son and daughter was it? And the dad is mad at the son and said that people who commit to incest should be killed, but I thought the son only molested one of his sisters? Or more than one? And the dad is running for a political position due to this? And the Duggars just had a miscarriage?

Hello, this is my first year in participating in Ramadan. I myself am not Muslim, however, I still am participating in it. Since I know no Muslims, I need help. When does it actually start? I heard June 18 evening so does that mean that I can eat during day when it is June 18 or I have to start fasting that morning when there is day light? Please help me? Thank you!

Tomorrow I'm going to the movies with my friends & I just got my period. Where should I place the extra tampons and pads when I go out, other than taking a purse? Btw, I'm not the type to take a purse with me anywhere. So me & this guy kinda like each other. I know he has interest in me & likes me. This past week we have been messaging each other on kik a lot, sometimes even 4 hours late like 12:30 , though none of it is dirty. It is purely innocent & fun. We always joke around when we message on there. However, in real life we don't have much of a relationship. We don't say hi & I'm just too shy & scared to look him in the eye. He himself is a shy person so we both lag saying hi. Recently, we got super close during the message, how can I bring that closeness to real life? I don't want it to continue like this & pretend like we don't know each other out of our phones or let the closeness expire and leave.

I feel so bad too because we pass by each other & sometimes like less than a foot, but I'm too nervous to say hi.

Should I just randomly ask him why we ignore each other at school? Or would that be just a nooooo. Would it seem like I have interest in him by doing that, since I'm bringing attention to it? If string theory could ever be proven, what would it prove or help explain?

Would it help explain what gravity fundamentally is?

I know that it brings together quantum mechanics and general relativity, two theories ( wait, they are theories, correct?) that are completely different from each other from math and the way it describes physics. What else is there to it?

Does it involve supersymmetry? Can someone thoroughly explain please?

I understand that it combines the fundamental forces, including gravity, and explains things further, but does someone have a more thorough answer than what I just put?

I understand that String Theory cannot be proven until experiments are conducted, but why do string theorists continue to research into it? Why do they still follow it? There must be something that convinces them that it is correct?

Hello, I run an animal rights club with my friend at our school and I'm looking for ways to recruit more people into our club and what else I should do in the club.
