  • Rabbit breeding info?

I will be getting a buck on the 24th of jan but he will still be a baby.

I currently have 2 rabbits (doe and neutered buck) and I am possibly thinking of breeding the new buck and the doe. (doe is 2yrs old)

Will the buck be able to breed with an older rabbit? (once he has hit sexual maturity)

Also.. What would i do with the two bucks when the female is pregnant? (i mean would i have to house them seperate from the female rab?

Also i want to know how safe it is for rabbits to breed? (how usual is it for doe/babies to die ect..)

Any extra info on breeding/caring for kits aprechiated

PS, i don't know if i actually will breed them, just exploring the possibility...

    Thankyou

  • Rabbit food????????????????????????????????????????????????//?

I'm getting a baby rabbit around the 24th of jan and i already have 2 rabs.

They are currently fed mixed rabbit museli (supplemented with veggies and hay of course)

I know that the best food for a baby rabbit is special baby rabbit museli, however it will be more expensive to keep on buying different kinds of rabbit foods.

Could a baby rabbit eat mixed rabbit museli ?

  • Will two baby bunnies get on?

I have decided i am getting rabbits.

I might get two, but will they get along?

The bunnies I will be choosing from aren't from the same litter, but they are kept together in the same cage at a pet store with other bunnies. (they're different breeds, but about the same size (same gender)

So, would they continue to be friends or will they fight once hitting sexual maturity, (they will be neutered)

  • Will Euthanasia hurt my pet?

later today, my cat is going being put down as he has a faulty kidneys and breathing problems, so he won't eat, the kindest thing is to put him to sleep. :(

I am really worried because i want to know he won't be stressed or scared. (he hates the vets)

Also how can I come to terms with losing him?

he is 15 and I am 13 so I have had him all of my life.

  • Hamsters or Rats ???

I love hamsters and I have never owned a rat because my parents have always tried to put me off them (my mom is scared of them..)

I want to see other peoples views of them and which one they prefer as pets and their advantages.

    Thankyou :)

  • What Pet would suit me best?

my family already has a puppy and I don't have time for another pup.

I don't want anything like a hamster as I have owned them in the past and I prefer a more interactive pet that i can properly play with.

I have 2 rabbits already and I am allowed 1 more, however one rabbit is male and one female so the rabbit couldn't play with them (i would get a male)

so should I get another bunny or would it be unfair for it not to have a buddy, would it manage with just human company?

I want to get a pet I can teach a few simple tricks.

I want a pet I can cuddle up with.

I want a pet that won't take up as much time as a puppy.

    Any suggestions??? :)
