Where do I find the automatic update settings for windows xp? I've tried the security center and at the bottom it says manage settings for: and then there is nothing there. Could this be due to my anti-virus? Thanks for any info.

I've installed the Sims 2 DD game on my daughters Inspiron 1525 (running Vista). Each time she tries to play it seems to be doing ok until you try to enter a house then it just locks up. Any one have any information on this or any ideas on how to resolve the issue?

I'm giving my daughter a laptop for Christmas and wanted to buy a Sims game for her to play on it....

I know from reading other YA questions that Sims 2 works fine on Vista...

My question is ...should I buy a few of the Sims 2 games/expansion packs or should I wait for Sims 3 coming out in February and Sims 3 expansion packs that are sure to follow? Or will Sims 2 and Sims 3 work together somehow?

If I go with Sims 2 games....which ones do you recommend?

Any help would be great. I'm not familiar with the PC versions, only PS2.

been able to get a set of Christmas lights working again after replacing those stupid fuses that they have in ALL lights now? Or I should say have you ever been able to get one half of the lights working again? It's always half the string that goes out. I've changed one fuse, both fuses, switched them around.....nothing ever gets them to work again. You think the manufacturers started making them this way to get you to buy more? If it's for safety ...why not just one fuse? why two?

LOL...I know it's not that big of a deal but when Christmas rolls around every year I start thinking about it again.

I've tried to install this update three times now and each time about half way through installation a message pops up saying "Access Denied" I hit OK and the update is undone. Has anyone ever experienced this before? If so what did you do to solve the problem?

I bought a pumpkin and then never had the chance to carve it for Halloween. I thought I might keep it until Thanksgiving and carve something in it then like "Happy Thanksgiving" What's the best way to store the pumpkin to make sure it lasts until then? My three year old son is completely stubborn about everything. When he was around two he was eating fairly well and a variety of foods...but now he has narrowed that down to three or four things and won't even consider trying new foods or even food he has eaten in the past. lets say you have 100 rabbits and 50 of those rabbits evolved and the other 50 didn't. How many times has this happened throughout the evolution process? Only so many of a group evolving? And if it has happened why did the others not evolve? Just curious.

How would you feel about Christians and Christianity if we were more accepting of your life choices and didn't try to interfer in your decisions....getting married, adoption, etc.? The reason I ask is that I am a Christian and my beliefs are usually stereo-typed with mainstream Christian beliefs even though I have no problem with someone being in a gay or lesbian relationship, getting married, etc.
