I am currently in the Marine Corps in a non-combat MOS (generator mechanic). I have deployed to Afghanistan before and it was a very rough one thanks to the horrid chain of command that I was TAD to, Long story short no one in my platoon was allowed to go on patrols, convoys, or do anything at all (the OPS Chief had done funeral duty so he forbid any and all "dangerous" activities) except sit inside their respective areas and provide the laundry and showers. That's all fine and dandy except now that I am a year from my EAS date and I have yet to do anything that I joined for. Does anyone know of a company or organization that will hire former military that was NOT special forces to do combat related jobs? I will not re-enlist in an 03 MOS or attempt to go to recon or marsoc. I saw what those guys did in Afghan and I do not want to waste another 4 years of my life police calling or doing that kind of ***** work in a combat zone.

Whenever I am trying to stay awake when I'm drowsy (like in a boring class) I will feel myself falling asleep but when I do I have see vivid images or dreams. Even when I have dreams I remember they don't stick in my head like these do. I tend to hear, see, and often feel everything. For instance I saw someone walking around a mountain and I could hear and feel the icy wind blowing even a little after I snapped awake. Any thoughts on if these are messed up dreams because I'm half awake or are they some sort of vision (I have had some dreams become entirely true except for a few small details like colors or dates).

So I have been having similar themed dreams for the last four nights or so. They have been something along the lines of my wife/fiancee/girlfriend being pregnant or just spending time with her (multiple dreams in one night or they are strung together). In the dream, I am rather happy then reality hits and I wake up. The first problem is when I wake I feel a kind of sadness that physically hurts (like my insides were ripped out). Next is that I have not had too many relationships due to my line of work and this female in my dreams is someone I do not know (small details such as clothing and locations change but she still looks the same). Lastly, I am not in any relationship currently and I will not see someone of similar looks in asia (where I live until next year). Any ideas as to interpretation? As a side note, not much would be too out there if it was plausible (aka no zombie aliens taking over the world and stuff).

About 2 weeks ago I had a dream where I saw a woman and her baby and they had died. The night afterward I could not get the woman's face out of my head. I have no idea who they are all I know is that I could give a perfect description of this woman's face for the next 3 days. Last night I had a dream and in this case they didn't die, but I can give a perfect description about what she's wearing, how tall, and what her face looks like. Also this time it's someone that I've seen before. I still don't actually know her but I've seen her either on tv or at a store or something like that. I want to know if this is just me having a stress buildup come loose or if I am actually seeing people that exist.

Just a note I have had dreams before that come true for the most part (colors or distances were off by a bit, but the jist was there).

So today I was in my bathroom for about 2 minutes, and when I came out I was seeing colored outlines around people and objects. This isn't the first time either, some days I'll be bored in class and let my mind wander around and I'll start to see these colored outlines around people and objects. Most recently I was trying out a ouija board just for the heck of it, and I had made the board out of notebook paper and a paper football, now whereas everything was going as it was supposed to, the paper and the football had a thin blue outline, but right before the football moved I would see the outline warp/bend in that direction (and a little of the football), then it would move. I'm wondering if I'm just having side effects of lighting (like floaters if you stare at a light for too long) or if I'm actually seeing auras.

I am an 1142 in the Marine Corps (still in MOS School) and I maintain the generators the USMC uses (for those who don't know) and I chose overseas as my duty station. Even though I still have 3 months of school left and a lot can happen. If I get sent to Okinawa what is the likelyhood of me getting assigned to a MEU?

Has anyone else noticed that more and more she is looking like a sl*t? I mean in RE she wore a uniform of a sort. In RE3 she wore a tube top and a short skirt. Now, whereas during the game play of RE5 she wears the suit ("battle suit" as it' s called in mercs or "brainwashed" in the library figure) and she unzips it just enough to show the red device and it looks fine, but in mercs the thing is unzipped halfway down the front. I really didn't notice this before because I usually played mercs solo and when I used that version of Jill, I always saw her from the back. First time I noticed was when I played online and someone used her (if you don't have live just hook in another controller and select "split-screen" then choose Jill Battle Suit with one of the players). Even Sheva in the tribal outfit looks less like a whore than Jill. What the heck did they do to her? It's like Jill turned into their little b*tch over at Capcom or something.

I own orange box for the PC and 360 (PC because I didn't have a 360, and then when I got a 360, I got it because my pc sucks and can't run HL2, TF, or Portal due to pxl shading). And as I have discovered it freezes every 30 min tops or so (sometimes sooner, or at a specific spot in the game). I was wondering if installing it to a 360 HDD would fix that (I only have the 256 built in MU right now). I have the NXE or whatever dashboard. So far Orange Box is the only game that freezes on my 360.

When I play resident evil 4 I the game will run normally then randomly I get a second zoomed in screen that's like an overlay. Then the game slows down a bit. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The game came with the patch and I am running it on an IBM Thinkpad R51 ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 video card. Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Halo work with no issues whatsoever.
