Get assigned to a MEU?
I am an 1142 in the Marine Corps (still in MOS School) and I maintain the generators the USMC uses (for those who don't know) and I chose overseas as my duty station. Even though I still have 3 months of school left and a lot can happen. If I get sent to Okinawa what is the likelyhood of me getting assigned to a MEU?

With that MOS your chances will be slim. Japan has only one MEU.
