i am a 13 year old from England, UK. i love animals in particular guinea pigs! they are my heart, soul and make me what i am today! they are a part of me and will forever be that special thing that remains in my life. i own 2 guinea pigs, in total i have had 7! :'( i also own, 2 hamsters. 2 dogs, 9 tropical fish and a gerbil!

  • question about guinea pigs please answers?

i have a 1 year 3-4 month old guinea pig, she had babies before, she gave birth to them when she was about 6 months old. and then she got accidently pregnant and had the babies too early and she was only about 6 weeks gone. she had her last litter about 6 months ago roughly. and recently 2 of ehr babies from the last litter past away due to hyperthermia, so my male and female piggies are now comfortably indoors in their brand new cages!

but since the baby piggies have died (3 and a bit weeks) she has been playing with the male (just set loose in the living room) and i think she MAY be pregnant. i know i may not seem responsible, but i have always watched them. a few times i have left them for maximum 30 seconds. when they were apart and when i cam back they were still apart. so if she is i dont understand how, but she has a few signs. she can onyl be maximum 2-3 weeks. but she seems further:

she drinks quite allot - - - she has recently put on 60g since her 2 daughters died, i figured this was just because she was able to eat the food on her own instead of others eating it too, but coming to conclusions i am beginning to think not - - - there is a lump in her belly, usually where the babies stay and where they become more "pear shaped" when they're pregnant, its about 3cm big, and i can feel it quite well. also if she goes onto my shoulder i can almost hear things moving, like your underwater and your sloshing it about it bit sounds like that if you put your ear to her belly. - - - i have also heard about they dont nest but she has been recently covering herself up, which she has never done, maybe its because she is hiding herself away from the "outside world" cos she is lonely i dont know. she never done this outdoors so i cant think its because she is cold :/

she has no otehr symptoms apart from, weight gain, drinking extra, some sort of sound which i only heard when she has been pregnant before, and she also looks SLIGHTLY bigger.

please help i DON'T WANT HER TO BE PREGNANT. if she is i will get her to a vet to make sure she is ok, this will be weekly. and if i see the birth i will call a vet to ahve them on hand if i witness the birth.

so my question is, does it seem through what i ahve said that she may be pregnant? thanks

  • is it safe to feed a guinea pig these foods?

my teacher has a 5 year old guinea pig, every day it has some human food, she feeds it like a small bowl of mash potat with some baked beans. and then she might give it like a small spoon of vanilla ice-cream she also feeds it plain toast in the morning. it also has hay, food, muesli available at all times too and it also has veggies. if she gives it mash potato and stuff, how come its so healthy the vet said its a perfect weight and over all looks like one of the healthiest guinea pigs she has ever seen. so is it safe, she has been giving it mash potato with beans like 4 times a week daily since she has had it. she also feeds it like the stuffing you have with your roast dinner, like half a small ball of it weekly. she also feeds it a bit of gravy with the mash potato sometimes instead of beans or she puts like a tablespoon of gravy in a bowl for them.

if her piggy is healthy would it be safe for me to give my 4 piggies a small bowl of mash potato and beans to them to all share once per week and a small bit of ice cream sometimes as a treat?

  • is it normal if you missed a period the month before for the next one to be HEAVY?

i am 13, and currently got my 4th period. first was light second heavy, 3rd really light and 4th really heavy. is it normall if you sort-a like 'half missed one' to have a heavy one the next month?

also i have blood on my bed sheet and i obviously need it cleaning but i don't want to tell my mum because i get embarrassed, the second period she checked my bed, found it and said nothing to be thank god. but i don't know if she will chck this time. i will wait and see but sometimes i just want to ask my mum questions and then i don't because i get embarrassed.

i also have a 21 year old sister i told her a while back i only have discharge, because when we moved house her husband found rubbish from the pant liner things and was like ehhhh and it was only the green plastic sheet thing! and he always goes 'i smell mucus' and it makes me self consious, i shower daily and i always think i smell when he says it i know he is oking but it embarrasses me and i don't like my sister talking about MY body infront of her husband and my grandad.

i feel different when she talks about it infront of men if you get me. i want to tell my sister she is not only my sister but my best friend, i need to tell her but i know she will tell her husband and i will get the p!ss taken out of i mean for god sake he is 28!

    thank you

  • question about yahoo accounts suspension?

my daughters accoun got suspended, we don't know why, we think there is 1 person that is violation her because she got a violation email twice! and now a suspension. we think its because in one of her questions she said she was 12.

we know the suspension suck, i have had my account suspended before on answers and appealed twice and won yahoo and got my answers account back, my daughter has appealed but now yahoo is not letting her sign in.

apparently you have to wait 48hours before you can start using the mail account again.

    1. is it true about waiting 48 for mail to work again? even though she was using it yesterday as she read the email and carried on using the service.

    thank you

  • could i be ready to start my period, i have horrible back pain ever!?

ok for the past 3 days i have almost past out on the floor with pains on my back so when i take ibuprofen it helps a bit so i go sleep.

they come on around 6-7pm at night for the past 3 days, i sleep on the floor for like an hour from like 6-7/ 7-8pm then watch t.v and then it comes back but not as bad around 9.30 but then i just rest till i feel tired usually around 10.30pm

    (i am 12)

i have to discharge and it apppears slightly darker than befor its appearence is usually white but now its a bit more creamy.

when pain comes on sometimes i take a 10 minute bounce on my trampoline and it soothes it and calms pain down for half hour but sometimes it hurts too much so i go sleep, i have never past out but its horrible.

also i was walking back from my sisters yesterday and i have a piercing pain where like my pelvic bone is, just like 1 secodg sharp pain it happened 3 times but not again.

yesterday i had stomache ache but a glass of water helped it was where my mum said you get period pains.

also can i ask what is 'going through the motions' my friend said you get this before your period is it period pain or something?

    thanks in advance

  • is this diet healthy, and is this a good way to loose weight?

my friends 12 year old daughter htinks she is overweight she is 12 and a half, weights about 9 stone, is this overweight, she has only talked to me and not her mum, so i am asking on behalf of her.

for breakfast she has fruit and fibre

for lunch she has a small white baguette with ham, lettuce, cucumber, cress and tomato in. with an apple and banana/plum

for dinner she has anything with salad, usually pasta with tuna, sweetcorn and salad/noodles/roast dinner (with out salad, mix veg instead)

and for a snack she has a piece of fruit and every other day a chocolate bar.

would you say that is quite healthy, and she is getting a trampoline in about 1 week, and she wants to go swimming weekly for 2 hours and its free, and she walks her dog daily.

is this a good way for her to loose weight, she will be on the trampoline for about 2 hours per day and walks her dog for 20 minutes per day.

    thanks
