Hi,I used to work part-time as a riding instructor(holistic/horse-whisperer methods etc)& full time as a merchant banker in the City of London I had a very busy active life. I lost everything when I became ill over 8yr ago and the DHS have been more than happy to let me go off the radar. But in January 06 I sold my home, car, heirlooms and set about researching and self medicating and alleviated the worst symptoms such as mental sluggishness, tiredness (temporarily) and muscle /joint problems and pain. Life has given me insights and talents that have led me to uncover this outrage. I presented my findings to my GP and ADD/ADHD experts who are on board with my conclusions. Adrenal/thyroid is behind all of the autistic spectrum and Alzheimers. It is a national scandal caused by the GMC and government. If you want to know more please email me, read books by Martin Budd and visit wwww.thyroidUK.co.uk for help with tests etc.I survive thru charitable donations and receive no DHS help still

  • In the U.S. TV Show 'ER', what happened to the character Dr Clementais (sounds like Clem-ent-ays)?

Despite it recently being repeated on daytime TV at the moment I missed the penultimate episodes that seem to lead up to this characters complete departure. Annoyingly, and unlikw other characters that have left there seems to be no reference to the character thereafter. I only saw the part where his girlfriend Josie had woken from a coma after her estranged policeman husband shot the couple in their appartment. The last episode I saw showed Clementais walking home to his appartment terrified of a reprisal from the estranged husband, particularly as Clementais had been boasting that Josie was awake and goading the killer cop only to realise the phonecall was being made yards from where Clementais stood, but what happened next?

  • My cat is called Buster after Buster Douglas are there any related names to christen a 2nd cat I have adopted?

My old moggie, Buster, has been with me for 15 years now and he's still going strong. My boyfiend suggested calling him Buster, after 'Buster Douglas' the Boxer who famously had defeated Mike Tyson and was the only opponent to date to have done so.

A few weeks ago, I became aware of a little black cat that appeared to be stray, and despite my best efforts I was unable to find an owner for the little cat. So after a while I got him neutered and vaccinated and now he is a new addition to my home.

Up until now I just called him 'Black Cat' .I have a WEE ME avatar which includes Buster and I use it to sign off my emails and on Yahoo groups as Meiya & Buster. My emails in future though will be signed off as Meiya, Buster & ?-?-?-? , any inspired suggestions as to what I can name the new cat?

In particular I wondered if anyone had any ideas relating to the theme with which the first cat found his name, or any other bright ideas for a good name for that matter, thanks you guys!

  • IF ADD/ ADHD are now widely beleived misdiagnosed cases of adrenal/thyroid why has no one linked it to Autism?

The great scandal is one being upheld by our own GMC in insisting that all adrenal and thyroid failure are measured on a scale now known to be outdated and too insensitive being that it caters only for normal on a scale between 10 and 24 and severe for anything that surpasses 'normal'. Therefore there is no room for mild or moderate cases even though they are severely debilitating. The symptoms I discovered during my own foray into that illness led me to re diagnose my consdition from Adrenal deficient to ADD sufferer ew

when I was told my own score was normal. It was only later when i correctly diagnosed my coleague with the same illness that I was able to tally our scores on that sscale both were at 12.5. My friend received treatment because she had been on thyroid medication for some time following an operation to remove half the thyroid gland, I was never given that treatment because GP's are not allowed to treat someone unless they score as severe on the scale.Autism is same

  • what is the method or reason for cigarette smoke passing through an uninsulated floor into premises below?

I have a problem with my lettings agent that I rent my home through. Despite me, telling this man that the couple above must insulate between the floor and ceiling he overode my appeal and gave them carte blanche on DIY. 6 months on and the nicotine entering the property is so bad that I am now using an inhhaler and distressingly my cat is dying of nicotine poisoning (he has a weak liver and could not metabolise the poison). When told of the problems of noise and pollution because of their floor they started campaign bullying & harrasment so I went to the letting agent for help I suggested warm & cold air thermals were swapping and carrying the smoke between the floors as they always open 2 sides of windows on the building. I was also told that nicotine is heavier than air. I called in the councils ernviro dept whose report states inadaquate insulation but I need them to stop smoking and agent keeps saying floor beaded so can't be nicotine/draughts passing through so I need the facts

  • What is it in Asparagus or in some people that cause odorous urine?

Recently at a friends house I mentioned I like Asparagus and they told me that this causes strong and unpleasant smelling Urine, I was puzzled by this as I have never found that to be the case when I eat it. Late I read in a book that there are a few lucky souls who appear for whatever the reason, to have an immunity to this while the rest of the asparagus population unfortunately pay a price for indulging. What is it in Asparagus that affects the majority of those who eat it and what is it about me and other lucky people who do not suffer the indignity of 'whiffy wee'?

  • My eyes sting when my neighbours upstairs come home and open all their windows. What is causing this?

I live in a victorian part grade 2 listed building converted to 4 flats. When I first moved into the basement flat there was extensive humidity and damp which took 3 months and 3 full time dehunidifiers to resolve. My neighbours upstairs removed their carpet and sanded the floor boards,at the same time cracks began to appear all over the place at the ceiling and floor wall joins,in the woodwork & door frames. My neighbour came to me in a panic announcing her fear that the house was falling down,so God knows what sort of cracks appeared upstairs. However, since the carpets have gone & when they are home and all their windows are open on 2 or 3 sides of the building my eyes sting so much it hurts to keep them open and become bloodshot & irritated. My neighbours are smokers but not heavily so.I note my breathing is also poor and I had trouble walking a short distance today to the corner shop.A friend of mine suggested the problem could be a down draught & mould in the walls.Air con unit helps

  • How much heat/costs am I losing/paying additionally?

I live in a multi occupancy dwelling in which I occupy the basement. It is a privately owned/rented building of four storeys, whereby each floor houses an occupant and is seen as a flat. The house is listed at the front, where it has sash windows but not to the sides. Recently my neighbours above me, took up the carpet and sanded the floors, I agreed to this providing they either put down a rug in the middle of the floor or provided accoustic /insulated substances between the joists and floor, which they did not. Then they anounced they could not afford new carpet or covering for the floor and the noise from their apppartment is shocking. AlsoI can feel a drop in temperature in al rooms but particularly where their lean to is above my lounge. It is an external room and very draughty with plastic corrugated roof panels. How much heat am I losing & how much extra will it cost me now they have taken away the wall to wall carpet above me? How can I check to see the heat I am losing?

  • who can I call for help in transporting and/or re-erecting this building?

Who, what how and/or where do I get this job done tomorrow?

Hi, I have a 5 mtr x 2.5 mtr concrete sectional garage I have been asked to arrange for it to be removed from Sutton in Surrey and delivered to Rochester,Kent. the planks that comprise the garage are bolted together, there are no posts because it is freestanding. They are 400mmx1200mm x 50mm thick and weigh 70 kilo each. There are 29 planks that are heavy enough to be almost too much for two guys to move. tthe men that took the garage down are unable to drive a hire vehicle as they are too young (must be over 25yrs) and I do not even know what section or heading I should be looking under in the business pages. It's not removal men its not man and van (transit van is too small as roof panels are 5 mtr long), what heading do trucks with assisted crane loading come under anyway

  • Is it safe for a dog to chew on/ play with pine tree branches?

Because I thought pine ,like most evergreens was not terribly safe for animals (particularly the needles which I assume must be the most toxic part of the tree) but what of the sap?

I ask because I had an enquiry from a small breed dog owner asking for some of the branches off the pine and apple tree in my garden. They mentioned that their small dogs (20) loved to pretend these were swamp monsters and attack then decimate the offending 'swampies'. (ahh ! They sound so cute, the dogs , not the swampies)

  • Does anyone recognise this insect ?

There were three of them hidden in crevices of an aerosol deterrant which sits outside my bedroom window on the ledge. They were milimetre or two long with fairly flat bodies looked a bit like apple pips but symetrical either end of body with several segments to body , looked similar to a flat brown woodlouse but smaller. I squashed them as I got a feelingthey were not good bugs and could tell immediately that they were blood sucking insects from the blood and amount that was shown upon doing so. I was concverned they were parasitic like bed bugs or ticks but thought ticks were grey? And bed bugs living outside on my window ledge ? Its too cold for them is nt it
