I have been working for years trying to make something for my son and I. I want to so back to school but if I do that I can't work as well. Are there programs out there that can help with EVERYTHING... School, apartment, food, utilities, car payment, prior bills? I NEED to do something and fast my son depends on me... NO one else, I need to do it for us! Any help will help!! And please rude comments keep to yourself, I am asking for help not rude comments. Thank you! :)

We were exposed to carbon monoxide, we moved but still pay rent can my landlords do that?

My son and I moved into an apartment about 2 months ago, we have both been sick, my son more than me. I called the gas company, they found a leak and carbon monoxide, we have been tested and waiting for results. Anyway, I want to know if I have the right to break my contract and move out. They condemned the water heater ( where the leak was coming from) and the furnace, because they didn't pass code. PLEASE any help will be great!

I am a single mother working full time and have been living with my parents. I need to find a place to live because my parents need us out. I am currently seeing someone, and I have a son that just turned one. My boyfriend asked me about adopting my son if we were to be married. As far as I know he cant because my sons fathers name is on the birth certificate, and his father would have to give up his rights?! Is that true? My son has my last name, if that makes a bit of difference. I just want to know if we were to get married would my bf be able to adopt my son?

My sons father has not and will not pay child support. Sees my son once every 2 months or so. Is on probation for drugs, and has a felony charge against him. I am not sure if this helps or not either.

My baby is 9 months old, he was a preemie, so that's why I have nursed for so long, anyway, he wakes up 3-4 time a night to eat, and nurses 3-4 times during the day, how can he stop? I need to get him off by Easter, I am taking a trip over night where I can't take him. Any suggestions on him sleeping all night would also be a huge help! Thanks!

I was never married, I have a 9 month old son and his father stole a prescription of narcotic from me I filed a report and he is getting sentenced on the 17th of this month. Can I keep my son away? Can his right as his father be taken away? My son never goes with his dad, he doesn't pay child support, and he comes around once in a while. Like once every 2 months. What rights do I have? Is there a website that can help me? I have talked with a lawyer, but I don't have the money to keep talking to him. (he wasn't much help) Please if you can help I am begging. I don't want my son around a druggie... can I move?

My ex stole a prescription from me, a narcotic, I filed a report and now 7 months later he will be getting sentenced. It will be a felony 2 charge if that makes a difference. My question is can I keep my son away from him legally until he goes to jail? (He is going to jail) Please save the yelling about how stupid I am to get with a druggie, I had no idea, or I would of left. It's sad how addicts can hide things from you.... I am a single mother. I just turned 22. I live with my parents and cant afford my own place. I get so exhausted taking care of my baby alone, I do have the help of my parents,but they get so worn out because they are older. What my question is, is does anyone have any tips on getting a home by myself? Or relaxing tips? or anything really? I guess I need to know its going to get better...?! Does it get easier?

Long story short, I bought a printer for school and never ended up going so it sat in a box. The warranty is now expired. I have a Dell 926 all-in-one printer, copier, fax... anyway. I try and print something and it says that cannot communicate with printer. Everything is installed, I have checked and re checked all the plugs, then it says that there is a paper jam, which there isn't because I have checked that. When I call Dell they say I have to pay for help, so maybe someone here can help first... If not it's ok i'll break down and pay. Any advice/tips helps thank you so much!!

I had some pain pills stolen from me what actions can I do? It has also been about a month, I am scared to report it, what can I do? what would happen to the person that stole them?

My baby was born a month ago, premature, and we just got home from the hospital, his dad never visited before, and messed up with a pill popping problem. He said that he was getting help but I havent seen anything, and he hasnt had a full time job in a year... my point is I just want what is best for the baby, should I keep trying to help him, or even try and listen to the fact that he is "trying"?

what he did with the pills was against the law... he should be in jail and I am scared to report it...
