  • Has anybody had problems with BT?

Im at work on a night shift & during my break checked my emails & found an email from BT confirming my order for BT Vision TV & broadband package for £38.60 a month. I called home & my dad said they had called but he explained that I pay the bill & he wasn't interested as he has SKY TV & if he was interested as I pay the bill it was up to me to consent to it & I was not at home so couldn't consent to it.I am fuming. We have a BT land line & broadband package. I used to have a BT mobile but cancelled it as the phone started to run slowly & I called to find if I could up grade it. I was told I could have a new phone if I renewed my contract after 18 months, but she said my phone meanwhile needed resetting. The following month I got a mobile bill for £90, as I had used it alot I was a bit surprised & but the following month had another bill for £120, I complained & luckily got hold of somebody honest who knew what he was doing & he found she had set my phone to automatically connect to the internet every 30 minutes, hence the large bill, so he reimbursed me.

But I am really upset to think anybody can call & have access to my account & do thsi. I intend to make an official complaint

  • I have a email from a company that claims it can check if you have been mis sold your serps insurance. How can?

How can I check out if they are genuine. They claim they are regulated by the ministry of justice, but where can I check the company out. I don't want to send details of my policy until I can be sure they can be trusted !! I cant help wondering if it is another type of scam .

  • What happened to the nicotine substitute cigarettes that we were able to buy back in the 70's?

They were available anywhere you could buy cigarettes & cost the same & were packaged the same, I worked in a small tobacconists at the time & decided to try them, they were fine & think I would have happily continued to smoke them . I cant recall what they were called ? I have since given up but watching a mate struggle to do so has made me wonder why they are no longer available ? Surely it would be worth reintroducing them again !
