I'm a writing a lab report for gr. 12 Biology, and I have results that aren't making sense.

The purpose of the lab is to compare the power of aerobic exercise to anaerobic exercise. I'm not sure what is meant by power, other than a calculation that was implied to be 'power'; joules per second.

In the experiment I simply had to lift a weight as many times as I could until I felt a burning sensation, which meant entering anaerobic respiration, and then continuing until I could not lift it anymore. During aerobic exercise, I lifted the weight 28 times in 75s, then proceeded to lift it 75 more times (would have been more, but I ran out of time in the class) in 139s. Calculations showed that during aerobic respiration, the power was 5.67 J/s, and 8.19 J/s for anaerobic. However, sources online tell me that it should be aerobic that has more power, which makes sense to me as it can produce many times more ATP.

I intend to talk about how the results differ from research in the discussion section, but I have absolutely no idea why my results were what they were!

I'm doing a project on the importance of having a background in biochemistry/chemistry of living things in being a surgeon. However, I have no idea where to go with that. Obviously knowing what goes where in the body is extremely important, but I'm not sure where I could link vitamins, proteins, nucleic acid and such to performing surgeries. I apologize for the rather gross nature of this question, but I need to ask it!

It's almost 4 in the morning where I am, my toilet is clogged, and I desperately need to unclog it because I have a stomach bug, that could probably cause me to throw up at any time. Anyone in the house who could help me is fast asleep, and would not be thrilled if I woke them up.

I've tried the plunger (Unfortunately mine sucks), following any set of instructions I could find online, but to no avail. I gave the coiled coat hanger a shot, and thought I freed the clog, but apparently it didn't work, as my toilet bowl has been filled to the rim for an hour after flushing again. I have no access to a closet auger, any chemicals, or hot water, and definitely not a hose. Yes I've tried putting on a rubber glove and reaching up to find what's clogging it, but there's nothing within range of my reach.

It's also one of those energy efficient toilets - the flush power is really low to save energy, but it's a real pain.

I remember reading a book a long time ago, that I really liked, but I just can't remember what it was called!

From what I can remember, it was about a boy and his friend (or his brother or something, perhaps), and they somehow go back in time, or so they think. Everything is very primitive, and they can't find any life at first. I think it splits off into the story of only one of the characters, and while on his travels to survive, he finds an empty coca cola bottle buried in the sand. Naturally, thinking that he was in the past, he finds this very weird. He eventually stumbles upon this extremely rude girl, with braided hair (I think her name was Megan, or something like that), and she tells him that they are very far in the future, and it's revealed that the reason everything's dead is that the planet got wiped out by the Ebola virus.

In the epilogue, the main character has returned to his time, and he then works as a scientist toward finding a cure for the Ebola virus.

If this sounds in any way similar to a book you've read, please tell me!! My details might be a little skewed and foggy, so let me know if any part of it rings a bell.

I'm trying to find a Twilight or New Moon throw blanket, and ordering online isn't an option. A while ago, I know Walmart had them, but they don't seem to anymore.

I heard an interesting Global Warming theory the other day - that when the winning goal was scored, I think it was during the World Cup one year, so many people jumped up and down that the Earth was knocked closer to the sun. Absurd, I know, but I want to read a little bit more about the arguments for it.

This morning, around 10:00 am, I got punched in the side of my head by my friend who is waaay too strong for her own good. Not even a light punch either, it was a full-out fist to the sensitive spot on the side of my head. I'm not sure if a punch is enough to cause a concussion though.

I have a huge headache, and when I look to either side, the side of my head that got punched explodes with pain. I'm also a little dizzy, sensitive to light (but I usually am anyway), and really nauseous.

What are the chances I have a concussion? Should I get it checked out? Because I really want to take a nap, but I don't know if that's such a good idea.

I'm trying to figure out how to change the size of the clips in windows movie maker. What I want is for a few pictures to flash by to the beat of a song. I tried making them shorter by dragging them smaller, but it won't let me make them any shorter than about a second. Any ideas?

I need to buy colour contacts for a costume. I've never worn contacts before, so I have no experience whatsoever. I want to spend as little as possible, but I don't want to go so cheap that they're defective. Otherwise, any advice about anything to do with colour contacts ie. buying them, putting them in, taking care of them would be extremely helpful!

I've completely run out of ideas for cosplay...but I want something that not many people will have done, and I want it to be complicate and impressive xD. I'm a girl, I'm 5'5 with shoulder-length blonde hair (that I'm willing to die any colour), fairly thin, and I am willing to cosplay guys or girls.
