  • Looking for the song titled "Lord"?

I heard it on the Christian radio station, and it was sang by a man. When the song was over, they said it was titled "Lord", but I didn't get the artist's name. The chorus repeats "You are Lord, you are Lord...."

I tried searching the internet, but you can imagine how many hits pull up...

Anyone knowing this song, it would be a big help!

  • "Happiest Toddler on the Block"?

I am asking the opinion of anyone who has ever read this book, or at least "Happiest Baby on the Block", since it was both written by Dr. Karp.

I am interested in reviews, and although I have read some already from book sites, I am reaching out to the yahoo comunity. What are your opinions of Dr. Karp's approaches? Do they work, why or why not?

I am asking because I am on the market for a toddler book for my 14 month old daughter, and I want a heads up on what to expect these following months, and yes, she is starting her tantrums...

  • the book: "what to expect toddler years"?

I am buying the book online, and noticed there are two different covers. Has anyone bought this book that noticed the same thing? I read the authors, and they were the same, so I'm thinking different editions...?

If so, what are the differences? Is one better than the other, or are they actually the same but with different covers...?

  • A Few Questions for Lawyers and Paralegals?

Hello! I am a college student researching my field of major, and I was hoping to ask any paralegals or lawyers online a few questions.

I also contacted a few in my local area, but no one has the time, so I've resorted to yahoo answers!

    1) How did you get started in this field? What made you decide that this is what you wanted to do?

    2) What do you like best about your work, and what do you like least?

    3) How many hours a week do you usually work?

    4) What advice would you give me starting this line of work?

    Thank you for your time!

  • algebra exponent question?

So I know that 7 with an exponent of 8 is

    7*7*7*7*7*7*7*7

and that 5 with an exponent of 8 is

    5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5

the question is, using the power rule, 7/5 with the exponent of 8.

with the power rule in mind, I got to a conclusion of

    5764801/390625

Now, for some reason, I have a feeling I did something wrong.

Any suggestions, or did I really get the correct answer?

  • elementary algebra correction?

    word problem:

a coffee shop owner found she had 5/3 more orders for coffee as she did for tea. she had 40 orders all together. how many did she have for tea?

    i tried:

    40=x+5/3x

    solve for x

I combined like terms, and came up with

    40=8/3x

divide both sides i got 3/320

    this is obviously wrong.

any help, or input in where i went wrong would be much appreciated.

  • turtle help?

I'm visiting my mom at her house with my dog, and we left him in the backyard while my mom and I went out.

When we got back, we found that my dog had gotten to her turtle, and we found her upside down on the grass, and the bottom part of her shell had small puncture and it was bleeding.

I called the emergency vet, and they said their exotic doctor isn't in, and they dont know much about turtles.

I feel so bad since its my dog, but I have no clue what to do.

What are the signs the turtle might die?

How do I try and remedy the wound?

    Any suggestions will help.

If someone was in the military, and they attempted suicide, would he be let go or can he stay, if he doesn't do it again?

Not that the person is suicidal, they just had a suicidal moment.

  • LG DLP projection?

i got a new television after giving up on the old one. while this new t.v. has a 6 month warranty, i am curious about what could be wrong with it, and it being sunday, the shop is unavailable.

so, i turn the television on, and within 15 minutes, the picture will freeze, and turn into a fuzzy black and white picture. no movement, but the audio still continues.

it has been happening since last night, and can usually be remedied by turning the television off, and turning it back on, but its only temporary. withing 15 minutes, it will again repeat the symptom. i have tried unplugging it, and leaving it overnight. no luck.

i wiped the dust off the fan that cools down the bulb, and wiped the fan to the motherboard. no luck.

about an half an hour ago, i took the back completely off, and moved the set away from the wall.

so far so good... however, still wondering what happened with it....

  • television died?

I have a Mitsubishi television that i just bought from craigslist (which i guess i kinda regret, okay, i get it) a couple weeks ago.

I was on xbox for a while, and when I went to turn the xbox off to watch television, the xbox shut off but so did the television. When I try to turn it on, the screen remains blank but the power light goes on for about 3 seconds then turns off again.

Its a projection t.v. and prior to this, everything seemed fine.

I opened the back of the television to try and look at the fuse box, but got nowhere.

    Any suggestions?

  • lautenberg amendment?

has anyone had any experience or knowledge of the lautenberg amendment?

is that an automatic discharge, or can you have it expunged from the military, specifically the Marines.

  • military question II?

since the Marines are a branch off the Navy, when it comes to talking to someone about a possible hardship discharge, do you go through Marines personnel only, or can you go tthrough the Navy's as well? would it be a better chance to go through both?

Possible hardship discharge is about a spouse's mental condition, and all other aspects of solution have been tried.

pretty much, how do you approach this; who would be able to give answers?

  • etiquette for baby shower invitations?

I am due in August, and my mother and her friends want to throw me a baby shower in July. They want me to email them a list of my husband's relatives to invite them. For the most part, he has a great family. However, his mother is not welcome. She is no longer married to my husband's father (who I am planning to invite), but they do keep in touch. She is the type of person that would show up to my shower just to ruin it, and I am scared that she will learn about it.

So my question is, how can I put (nicely) somewhere in the shower invitation that the list is exclusive, and please no one uninvited show up? You know, without sounding like a witch. I dont want to bring her name up and single her out, because I feel like that would definately make me look like a witch.

And I'm not trying to look like her.
