I was just asked to be the godmother for my cousin's daughter. Can anyone tell me of any specific responsibilities the godmother has? Also, is there any specific baptismal gift that generally comes from the godmother? Thank you.

How could it effect his behavior? Especially if he felt jealous of the attention the baby receives.

I have read a few books set in Regency England that have described a (male) character as a Corinthian - what exactly does that mean? Is it simply that he's athletic?

I live in northern minnesota and there are a number of places here that have a Friday fish fry. It's all you can eat with cole slaw/salad and your choice of potato (baked, french fries). I was wondering if other places have it or something similar to it and any variations to it. In my particular area the fish is usually walleye (a local favorite).

I've been watching the reruns lately and it's been bugging me. I don't remember why they were in Anoka (at least I think that's the city's name). It's where they met Albert. Caroline cooked for a hotel there. Mrs. Garvey taught at the school there. The Olsens were also there. I just can't remember why they were there in the first place.

Do you think it's annoying to see the moving advertisements or do you like them? Personally, I think they can be cool. But, it's annoying to see them while I'm trying to read an article.

I'm just curious. I'm bisexual and an atheist. I became an atheist before I realized I was bisexual, so I never really had a problem with that myself. I also figure that if God were real, He made me this way so how could He have a problem with it?
