How do you tell a boss who's screwing up constantly that A. He's screwing up constantly and B. How to fix it?
I have a boss who's either passive-aggressive or completely clueless and has taken our section from the best in our division (under our old boss...who rocked BTW) and completely driven us into the ground. Morale is in the toilet, productivity follows in suit...how can I fix it as the #2 guy in the section?
7 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoCan anyone explain the purpose of a carriage bearing in a Dodge Truck differential?
Evidently the carriage bearing was loose in my truck's rear end/differential and was causing a grinding sound during right and left hand turns as well as a whine at certain speeds. What IS the carriage bearing, how difficult would it be for me to change myself and what would the consequences be if left unrepaired? Thanks!
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhich do you consider a more of a "miracle?" Evolution or Creation?
Do you think it's any less of a miracle if God utilized the "primordial soup" as a genesis for mankind rather than forming Adam from dust? Are the coincidental intracacies required to spawn life from a set of amino acids any less remarkable than a woman being formed from a rib? What do you think and WHY?
12 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoHow do you explain to a 6 year old boy that it's best for him to repeat the first grade?
We made the decision to have our son repeat first grade. He's got a May birthday and is the youngest in his class and truly enjoys school but has had difficulty latching on to reading and math. He has had a recent "blossoming", however, where he finally seems to "get it" with reading and math. His Mom and I have already signed the paperwork, we're moving back to our home town this summer where he'll be able to go to the same school his Mom went to and, of course, we know the teachers. The problem is that we just don't know how to explain to him that he'll be in the first grade again while his friends we'll keep in touch with will be in the second grade.
Please, this is difficult enough without having to deal with smart@sses so serious answers only will be greatly appreciated.

18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoShould the United States harbor illegal aliens w/o requiring legal naturalization?
Should legal naturalization be done away with in order to compensate for the vast number of illegal aliens currently within US borders? Or should the US maintain current naturalization laws and proceed w/constructing manned walls along US borders? If it's done on the Mexican border, should we expect it to be reciprocated along the Canadian border?

3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoAside from e-mail, what's the best way to stay in touch with family when you live in another country?
I'm moving to S. Korea for a year or so for work but I can't take my family with me. I very much want to be able to talk to my family on a regular basis as cheaply as possible but I'm not sure how. VoIP restrictions have just been put in place so my ideas for Vonage or Skype have gone up in smoke. What do you think of MSN or Yahoo for video chat? Please help me out with this...Thanks!!
6 AnswersFamily1 decade agoWhat are your thoughts on the Star Wars Galaxies independent servers?
I had played SWG since Beta but since the NGE the game has been ruined! I cancelled my account over a year ago but I'm finding that no other game has been able to capture my interest like SWG did and, honestly, I miss playing. I've seen independent servers promising that they've taken the game back to its pre-CU roots but I'm hesitant to try them. Has anyone had a good experience playing on these servers? Any recommendations? Thanks!

I'm moving to South Korea for a year and would like to be able to easily and cheaply keep in touch with my family back in the States. VoIP rules are different in Korea and letters take up to 2 weeks in the mail...I'm open to ANY suggestions. (Not going, unfortunately, is not an option) :-)
