I am trying to sue my old company. The owner works out of his house. He promised (in writing) to pay a $15,000 medical bill and of course is now not paying it. I had to hire a lawyer because the amount is too high for small claims court but my attorney seems to be a bit of a flake. He's on his own not in a practice and I have had a few issues with him. Anyway he is telling me they tried to serve him 4 times and he will not answer his door and is not accepting certified mail. Can someone really just avoid a lawsuit like that?

I just had my second baby and I need a really good gift to give to my Dr. She delivered my last baby laso and in the delivery room my husband and her bonded over one of the star war movies she never saw, so we bought it for her as her gift. This time I am clue less. I had a very difficult pregnancy and she helped me so much. I cant spend a lot of money amd do not want to just send her flowers and cookies like everyone else does. I am looking to buy a good point & click camera ( I have a good SLR one) I have the nikon coolpix and I really am not happy with it. It seems to take a really long time to actually take the picture. Everytime I make a pot roast in my crock pot it comes out very dry. All I do is put the roast in, add 1 cup water. potatos, carrots, Lipton onion soup mix and onions. I let it cook on low for 8 hours Any ideas on how not to make it be so dry? This actually happens with all my crock pot chicken recipes also
