Anyone living in the western new york area. We saw this thing hopping in our backyard (at night). It wasn't a rabbit as it only hopped on it's hind legs (kangaroo-like). It could be a white footed mouse, but it seemed a bit bigger than they are. Does anyone have any ideas? Or know of any sites where it can be researched?

I lead a preschool storytime where I work and I have a little girl who is visually impaired in my group this time around. Any ideas for crafts that would be more geared toward her? I'm doing farm (paper bag puppets), thanksgiving (thanksgiving hat w/turkeys and pumpkins on it) and winter (snowman out of cotton balls on a piece of construction paper) for my last three weeks. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What is Regis drinking every morning on the show? The brown stuff in the tumbler glass...is it chocolate milk? A protein shake? What IS that?

We had extra blueberries so I decided to make cobbler for dessert tonight. I misread the recipe and put the topping on the bottom and the fruit on top. Has anyone done this? If so, did the topping come out soggy and was it still good?

Need some advice. Posted a chair on the local freecycle site. Some dude says he wants the chair, but he has burned me twice on pick up. Now I get another email with another BS excuse saying he still wants the chair. Should I give him a last chance? I really want to tell him off, but he knows where I live...

I am a manager of a library and have to present a short talk for a group of cub scouts regarding how libraries were different before computers.

For example: cards, the process of cataloging books, the actual card catalog... Any retired librarians out there who would like to reminisce in order to benefit the next generation? All help appreciated. As always, 10 points for best answer.

Does anyone know of any organizations that take slightly used books and sends them to the troops? Or any groups that handle shipments of books?

For example: what was considered a large last year is now a medium? Same with the numbered women's sizes.

I'm past Harry Potter and have gone through the Land of Elyon, the Bartimaeus Trilogy, His Dark Materials, Inkheart, Eragon, Artemis Fowl...anything along those lines?
