  • Help with hole in wall....?

My condo is over 30 years old....my windows do not have frames....there was a curtain rod in my bathroom and the drywall (or whatever it is made of) just completely crumbled and now there is a huge hole in the wall where the anchor for the curtain rod was. Can I repatch it? Will I be able to put another curtain rod up there? It has just crumbled! Any ideas? It looks horrible not to mention I like a curtain in the bathroom (especially now to cover that hole!)...

  • Struggle w/counselor and divorce....?

Divorced for 4 years after being married for 11. Marriage ended abruptly due to ex-husband's affair. I thought everything was ok in our marriage. Yes you have ups and downs but never had an idea my ex would stray and destroy our lives. Its been very difficult to live with, especially having a child. I see a counselor and we always have this "disagreement" that it takes 2 people to destroy a marriage. I totally disagree as I didn't do anything to destroy my marriage. Am I nuts or is this a typical argument or am I just ignorant?

  • Poor Sportsmanship in Little League....?

How would you all handle something like this. My son is 10 and made the Allstar baseball team in our town. The coaches of the team are the ones in town that are "living the dream" thru their kids and don't play fair. For example, last season there were 2 teams in our fall league, one they picked all the kids who were better and the other was kids who hada just started playing or not in the right "click" in town. Everyone knew how unfairly they picked but no one did anything. Now for Allstars, they play all of their kids the whole game and don't give a few others a chance at all. What do you do ? When I approached the coaches they claim "We are here to win." And "its based on talent"....Kids like my son who is a good player don't even get a chance. I'm very angry and should've seen it coming from these guys. Unfortunately, they run the leagues....After 3 games of not playing much, my son thinks the coaches "don't like him." ....is this wrong? Does this happen everywhere?

  • Infedility....?

I just don't get it...I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but what the hell makes people cheat on their spouse? I am beginning to think no one in this world has any morals any longer.....bottom line, there is no "acceptable reason" for cheating....if you are not happy in a marriage for whatever reason, get the hell out!

  • What is the deal w/Dead Beat Dads?!!?

My ex has again refused to pay for things that he has been ordered by the court to pay so yet again I have to spend the money and time to take him back to court.....his idea is "I pay enough...take me back to court." Now, this time it over the extra money it costs for summer daycare. His wages are garnished for the costs of school year daycare and our divorce decree orders him to pay me out of pocket for 50% of the over and above. Why is it these fathers thinks they are getting screwed? Trust me, this money isn't going into my pocket. I just don't get it....Put it this way, I have a mortgage and make sure my son gets everything he needs and this loser has really no idea how much it costs to raise a child while he lives with his girlfriend and her mother at her mother's house...yeah, I'm sure he pays rent! This crap is just wrong!

  • Am I just nuts? Need help moving on....?

I was married for 11 years and we have a son. Out of the blue (and I truly mean out of the blue), he cheated and it was over. I'm 40 now and its been 5 years and I am still trying to get my feet on the ground. Is this normal? I don't miss him at all, deception took care of that. I miss the life we had, the family unit...it was what I lived for and what I was brought up to believe was how it is supposed to be. He is living with some chick and sees our son on his weekends only while I struggle with the day to day things. I think the biggest problems I have is I have reminders of life as it was (which I thought was great) all over my house. Our furniture and stuff, pics of my son when he was a baby, each one has a memory. I wish I could chuck it all and start fresh, but who can afford that?! I just can't get passed it and don't know what to do. I want to be happy again. I'm miserable and lonely...dating at 40 when you have a child sucks! Any words of wisdom?
