I am interested in interviewing celebrities (...but christian entertainers) <<< I am interested in things like this..

For example, when they have finished making a music album or about to start a christian project.. they get interviewed about their work and stuff like that..

Basically, just like the normal interviewers (or presenter) that interview celebrities, but mine is with the christian celebs instead.. and also to write/edit christian magazine articles :)

Are Christians allowed to listen to secular music..... Obviously, not the ones that swear all the time and teach about promiscuity..

I mean more like listening to pop culture music, about love, friendships, etc... For example, Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Cheryl Cole.. and so on.

Or, are Christians only allowed to listen to gospel music STRICTLY.

If the song sends a good message should Christians listen to it, or just ones that sing about Jesus all the time and nothing else?

I sound quite similar to them ^^

The thing is, where I live, people don't sound like that.,. They make me feel weird though sometimes.. Whenever I speak, they are always like "OMG, you sound so posh" "Where are you from?" ...blah blah blah..

It is starting to bother me now because they make me feel weird. And it's not like they say it to me in a nice way.. they say it in a way that makes me feel like I don't belong there. I hate answering questions in class because I sound different from everyone else and people look at me.

I love reading, and used to love reading out loud in front of the class.... but now I avoid it as much as possible because I hate how they make me feel... I just want to move out of this place and go elsewhere. They just make me feel bad and it's not even my fault.

I want to change my accent !!!

If a person wants to be a Sociology and Religious Studies lecturer.... what topics would they actually teach?

I know it's going to be obviously Sociology and R.E, but do they teach all the units in Sociology, or just the religious unit ?

Every time I see this person I keep smiling.

Obviously I like the person (in a friendly way).... not other way!!!!

I am always happy to see the person, I don't really speak to the person much. It's really annoying though because when someone keeps smiling and never stops its like you can't take them seriously and you just wonder why do they keep smiling.. (I literally find it hard to stop) OMGGGG, that sounds weird. lol.

I can make and keep eye contact well, but when it comes to this person, I can't.. I don't understand WHY..

I really want to stop. But what can I do?

Christianity teaches that we should try and live peacefully with people if we can. That's quite easy if you don't see the person often, but when you do... you can just ignore them or speak to them in a nice way (whichever you choose) .... But, what happens if the person is a family member and you live with them? If they constantly bring you down, saying hurtful things... how can you live in peace with them without causing an argument?

I have spoken to the person before, saying that sometimes their words are hurtful, and even though they might mean well ... it still hurts me a lot...

It's kind of frustrating because its not like I can completely avoid the person. I want to do it in a mature way also. I don't want to be childish and give them the silent treatment (even though sometimes I feel like) but it just looks like I'm keeping malice .

Uuuuuugghhh, please help -_-

I feel like I am always trying to work for merits from God....

For example, you know in human nature, sometimes people only like you because of something you have or because of something you can give them... you like that person because of that. Whereas, if that person adds nothing to your life, have no meaning whatsoever, you don't really care if that person wants to be your friend because they add no value to your life... they have nothing to give...

Well, it's almost like that with me and God. I want Him to like me but at the same time I want to trust Him but find it hard.. Maybe because so many people had let me down before, or if I do something wrong, I'm scared He wont like me as much anymore...

I really need to know how to believe and trust Him, and totally surrender my WHOLE life to Him..

Mature Christians please help me.

I use to fear God really bad up to the point where I'm scared to put my opinion across, just in case God didn't like my opinion... I use to fear every single thing I did because I didn't want to upset God.

I then learnt that I was acting out of self-righteousness, which won't get me anywhere in the end... and also that type of fear was a unhealthy fear.

I started to relax a bit more and understood that only God can change me because no matter how hard I try, I still can't change myself. He has the power to change the unchangeable.. but at the same time I feel that unchangeable, even He can't change me... (I'm fed up) I use to feel convicted of sin, but not anymore :(

These days, I feel like I have relaxed way to much and have lost all my fear for Him completely!

I don't want to fear Him in a way of being scared to even speak, because that unhealthy and all self-righteousness... but I want to fear Him so that I fear nothing else but Him.. I want to keep in His perfect will and submit to Him.. I just don't know how to fully "surrender"

I keep sinning and sinning time after time and I don't even feel that conviction anymore.. When I don't feel convicted, I know I'm in danger zone..

Please help me.. I want mature Christians to help me because I really need it.
