  • Where to go for a Victorian themed vacation in the U.S.?

I would like to take my mother on a Victorian themed vacation. I would like us to be able to look in old-fashioned stores and be surrounded with things from the 1800's. I am interested in staying at an old fashioned bed and breakfast with a Victorian style theme. Not sure where to go to experience this sort of ambiance. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Where are some of the best places to visit in Ireland?

My husband and I are trying to plan a trip to Ireland but we're not sure where to stay or what to see. We thought about Dublin but only because that's the city that's the most familiar to us. But I don't want to stay somewhere too touristy. I would really like to be able to indulge in the culture, (music, food, ect.)and see beautiful countryside, architecture, and castles. I've been looking at Kilkenny and Killarney but to be honest I need help. I want to make sure I see a bit of everything. If someone knows of a good webpage to go or has been to Ireland and is familiar with what there is to see, I'd really appreciate all the help I can get.

  • Does the Six Week Body Makeover really work?

I'm really considering buying this product but I would like to hear more about it from someone who has tried it. What do you do with this diet? What do you eat? How difficult is it (not saying that I'm not willing to do my part but I don't want it to be too difficult)? This question is intended for those who have tried the product or know someone who has, if that is not you, please do not answer.

  • Does anyone know if the Six Week Body Makeover diet works?

I'm really considering buying the program but I'm not sure what you do or how complicated it is. Don't get me wrong I'm willing to do the work but I don't want it to be so outrageously difficult that I end up failing at it. If someone could please give me some details about this diet (what you do, what you like, what you didn't like) it would be greatly appreciated.

  • What would be the best window treatments for my windows?

I live on a hill with a beautiful view and I don't want to cover up my windows, however I would like to have some sort of decoration for my windows. I'm not too crazy about the sheer curtains. Just curious if someone could send me a picture of something that would look good without compromising the view. Thanks!

  • So I want to be a model/actress but have a few questions.?

    A) I'm only 5'3" and am NoT a size 0 (size 8 actually). I've heard some people say I am just wasting my time and others say that I'm pretty enough. Is this true or is there still hope for me?

    B) where do I begin? Anyone have some advice for a beginner. (That is if the answer to question A. is something along the lines of "you've still got a shot")

  • Does anyone know how much it costs to get central heat and air put in?

Im moving into an older house that does not have any source for heat and air, no vents or anything. The previous owner used a gas stove for a heating source and window units for air. I would really like to know how much it would cost (approx.) to get central heat and air put in.

  • I need a rough estimate on how much it would cost to build a fireplace in my home.?

I'm about to move into an older home with no central heat and air. I have been considering building a fireplace but am unsure as to what the cost might be. The house already has a gas line going into it because there used to be a gas heater. I don't know if this would help bring down the cost or not.

  • Help! Trying to potty train my dog and it's not going well!?

We just got our new dog, Bailey, she's a dachshund and is about 7 weeks old. Her previous owner was using those pet pads (which I hate). My husband and I live in an apartment so we were concerned this would mean trouble in her potty training, but to our surprise she started off great, no accidents! But now, when we take her outside she will only pee a little bit (and yes we stay out with her a long time) and then when we get back inside she'll pee a little more on the carpet! What gives?! When we're outside with her and she goes potty we give her a treat right away. I don't understand why she's doing this and how to get her to finish ALL of her business outside. We make sure not to rush her when she's outside, but regardless of what we do, she's still having accidents. SOMEONE HELP MY CARPET PLEASE!!!

  • I need help potty training my dachshund!?

I just got her (she's 7 wks old) and the previous owner used puppy pads with her (which I hate). I tried taking her outside on a leash but she's so timid she just cowers down and starts shaking, I practically had to drag her on her leash! I'm worried I'm going to have a hard time potty training her. Does anyone have some advice?

  • Can sushi be refrigerated and eaten the next day?

I buy pre-made sushi at the store but I never finish it. I'm uneasy about refrigerating it and eating it the next day for fear of getting sick. Does anyone know what the "shelf-life" of sushi is so I can hopefully stop wasting so much of it?

  • My skin keeps breaking out and it's so oily! What can I do to get some relief from this?

I have been trying many products to get rid of my acne and all of this oil and nothing has helped. Here are the things I have tried.

    1. Proactive 2. Clean and Clear 3. The Wave (from Neutrogena)

I also read that when your skin is oily that means it is lacking moisture so I have been using a moisturizer and yet my skin still looks like someone has rubbed it with Crisco.

I have tried changing my diet by drinking more water and fruits and vegetables (no fried items whatsoever) and still no relief. I'm even starting to get pimples on my back now. This is so gross. Can anyone help?

  • What should I do with my dog? She's very sweet and loving but she's so destructive.?

I wanted her to be an indoor dog but she keeps ripping up everything. I've given her countless of other things to chew on but she insists on destroying our furniture and anything else in her path. I tried putting her outside in the yard and she almost ruined our air conditioner because she was chewing on it. She's ruined the siding on our house from chewing it up. I love her so much but she's destroying my home. Can anyone help me?
