My sister had her first baby, she was not financially capable of providing for him and gave him up for adoption. It's an open adoption and she knows the family. But now She is struggling with doubt and fear. She misses him a lot and wonders if it was selfish to give him up even though she can barely pay her own bills as it is. Any advice from someone who has gone through an adoption would be appreciated.

My brother and his fiancee were expecting in Jan but she developed preeclampsia and the baby had to be delivered 3 months early. THe baby girl lived 5 weeks and then died from complications to a lung infection in the hospital. What is the proper etiquette for the baby shower gifts? should they be returned or kept for the next child?

Any references as to where to find the information would be helpful.

My cousin accidentally melted a plastic plate in an oven and when opening the door it started a fire. they put it out with a fire extinguisher and got white powder all over everything. any ideas on how to clean up the melted plastic and powder from the fire extinguisher?

I've taken several different personality profiles for different reasons over the last few years. I am a ISFP (artist) who is very task oreinted. I grew up very shy and my father was verbally abusive so I have a very low opinion of my self. I get very uncomfortable around large groups of people esppecially if I don't know them, unless I have a task I have to accomplish and can focus on. This puts a damper on the random party scene because I freeze up and panic, not knowing what to do- because there is no task. HOw can I improve my comfort level around people I don't know well so I can interact at parties? Or find information about this?

I started working around several 20 something guys at a temp job. I'm in my early 30's but get mistaken for being in my 20's and a couple of the guys started flirting with me. I think is just in fun, due to the nature of the job, but do you think hypothetically that 20 something guys might be interested in a 30 something woman?

My brother asked me this question. He is very happy with his live in girlfriend and doesn't think she needs to wear makup but he thinks it would be nice once in a while if she spruced up and wasn't sure how to bring it up. SInce they are living together they are very comfortable with each other which I thought might be the case. I suggested complimenting anything she does that he likes and maybe planning a special event and making it clear that it was a dress up affair with plenty of warning so she would have time to get ready. any other sugestions?

I bought an avacado and it wasn't ripe yet so I left it out on the counter like I usually do but I was working a lot and forgot to check it. when I went back it had mold on the outside of the hard shell so i cut into it to see if the inside was bad but the color was th same as usual. I'm not sure what a ripe one should smell like but this one smelled kinda sharp so I didn't eat it. Anyone know the correct way they should smell?

I think I have allergies but 4 days ago I thought it was a cold. Where can I find the last weeks pollen counts to see if it was high?
