My husband just joined a company a few weeks ago and they're union. His first check only paid him for 10.5 hour of labor though he had worked 40. He was told the rest of his check would come Monday and they apologized for the mistake. Monday came and passed and still no check. Is this where the union would step in to ensure he gets the rest of the money he is due?

We went to the shelter and had a play date with a new pup so our over energenic dobe-boxer would have a play mate. She did very well with the dogs but the one she did best with was a lab-pitt mix. They were having tons of fun at the shelter and were excited to get home. They played when we go home and then that's when the problems started. They started fighting which my husband and I were mistaking for a decision of alpha. The resident dog had seem to won but as it turns out the more I look into it I think she was trying to challenge him and lost. Either way, my very happy very energetic resident dog has now fallen depressed. She hangs her head low and waits her turn for everything. She treads very lightly around the new dog and looks at us like she is very sad. Does anyone have any suggestions to make her a happy puppy again? We have considered taking the lab-pitt back to the shelter but we can't bring ourselves to do it.

I never get my period. It has been explained to me that due to my hormone levels I will get random periods maybe 1 a year maybe 3 etc. Anyway. I'm trying to help my best friend and her boyfriend rekindle and respark the fire of their relationship. (im a pure romance consultant.. its my job!) These two used to be the PDA lovie dovie type but due to their current slump, their relationship is suffering. So.. being the best friend I am, ive come up with a plan. Im sending them on a night away. Im taking their kids for the night and putting them up in a fancy hotel room down town. However, this being said, I would like for them to be able to do some fun things while they're down there that will help their relationship mend. Heres what i have so far- taking best friend to fredericks for the necessities, booking hotel via CLC, and a dinner. What other type of things would you suggest. Now i am working on a budget so no craziness like helicopter rides and things of that nature.

My boyfriend works outside as a trash man. His uniform only consists of a zip up hoodie that he must wear and cant cover it as it must be reflective. The temps have been 15-20 all week with a wind chill of-1. On his back, he has two spots that are bright red and very cold to the touch even after taking a hot shower and being home for hours. ok... so i am trying to figure out what kind of adhesive i can use for my wedding. cant use duct tape glue nails tacks staples etc... so pretty much i am limited to scotch tape.. i think we all know scotch tape does not stick to wood. so my question is.. is there any tape out there that will not leave behind adhesive that is either brown or clear that will stick to wood?
