I picked up a scarf this morning, getting ready for my trip to Turkey where I will be visiting several mosques. I got home and soon realized that what I thought was a pattern was actually CK embroidered all over the scarf. I ve seen women wearing scarves with patterns, but I don t recall ever seeing one with letters or writing on it. Is there a specific rule about such things? Will I be offending anyone?

So I just picked up some window crayons because hey, who doesn't want to draw on windows? And now my cat is enthralled by my drawings (sarcasm). Will it be a problem if he manages to ingest some crayon? He's a little punk so it's a very real possibility that he will, in fact, lick the crayon off the window. I know they say non-toxic, but I'm pretty sure they're referring to humans, not necessarily cats.

I don't remember what channel they were on; I only had them on VHS. They were about this group of kids who would learn about these different folk tales. The stories would vary from classic fairy tales such as the princess and the frog to a Native American legend about Strong Wind and on to stories about Harriet Tubman.

I'm going to the University of Arizona in the fall and I'm getting a little nervous. I've never been to Arizona and I don't really know anyone out there, so could someone tell me about the college life in Tucson? I've done some research, but I'd feel better hearing from people who've actually lived there.

It's a relatively new iTouch and I've used it on my computer before without any problems. But today, I plugged it in and though it charged, it wouldn't show up on my iTunes. I can find the drive on my computer, but my iTunes isn't recognizing it or anything. I checked and everything is updated. How do I fix this?

I'm STARVING. I've been sleeping mostly, so I haven't eaten much, but now that I'm off my meds, I'm awake and hungry. Is it ok for me to start eating normal foods again? If not, what types of foods can I eat besides mashed potatoes, soups, and pudding/yogurt?

I'm currently entering my senior year and, obviously, am considering which college or university I would like to attend. I'm interested in history (I'd really like to get into archeology) and in creative writing and I'd absolutely love to study abroad. I've been browsing different sites and am looking into the University of Arizona right now. I'd like to see some more options though. Can anyone help? Honestly, I have never even met my guidance counselors or anything (my school is horrible at preparing their students for higher education) and none of my family really know how to go about finding a school (all of my siblings have gone to the same university, so they've never had to search). So can someone please help me out? I'm really at a loss of what to do.

I'm doing a project for economics about recycling and I need to know how it affects the local, state, and national levels of government. I can't find anything about it just by googling it, so if someone knows of a link or knows the answer please please PLEASE help me out!

My cats are big and fluffy and oh so adorable. Sometimes, if they're lying down, I'll lay my head on them like they're pillows. That's ok, right? It doesn't seem to hurt them at all, but I just want to be sure that they're ok.

I just got a PS3 and I'm still getting used to it. My friends want me to play AC Brotherhood multiplayer w/ them, but I don't have a headset or anything. Can I still play without having the headset?

I just got a lucky bamboo plant as a gift today, and I just noticed that one of the stalks is a tan-ish color and has some black spots on it. The other stalks seem healthy, but I'm still worried about it. Is my little bamboo plant going to be ok?

I am 1/4 Japanese and 3/4 Scotch-Irish, German, etc (not sure about all the percentages of those). I have always been strongly connected to my Japanese side and have always dreamt of going to Japan. However, I feel like only being 1/4 Japanese, I am undeserving of partaking in the culture and going to Japan. I absolutely adore Japanese culture, but I feel like I'm unworthy of it. That I somehow shame it. I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I'm terrified and ashamed that I'm not full Japanese. It also doesn't help that my mother keeps telling me that when I go to Japan, I won't be accepted because I'm not full-blooded Japanese. How can I get over this feeling of inadequacy? Honestly, I get so worked up over it that I make myself sick. I know I can't change it, but I still wish I could. Does anyone else deal with the same problems? I'm not trying to be racist, these feelings are only pointed at myself. I just don't know how to deal with them. Can anyone help me?

I recently came upon my notebook that I wrote story ideas down in and discovered a few that I might still be interested in to write. One of them is about a girl who is the illegitimate daughter of a Roman general who left her and her mother when he was called back to Rome. When she's around 16 or so, she gets taken by some slavers and is taken to Rome (kinda obvious no?). She ends up being bought by an old war veteran who treats her and his other slaves well enough. He also happens to be good friends with her father who soon discovers her whilst visiting his friend. He gets excited and happy because he really loved her and her mother so he plans to buy her her freedom and at least get her a better rank in society. His legitimate son finds out, gets angry and 'for his father's honor' plots to have her killed. He accuses her of some crime and has her either burned at the stake or crucified (still figuring out which one would be more accurate for the time period or if another form of the death penalty would be better). The guy who was in love with her finds out about what was happening too late and he gets to watch her die. And then I have two different possible endings. He could either go and kill her half-brother and then himself, or he could go and try to kill her half-brother, but end up getting killed by him.

Honestly, if I did decide to write this one out, it'd need a lot of smoothing out and a lot of work. I'm not really sure if I should even think about writing it. What do you guys think? Would you even want to read a story like this? Any suggestions for improvement?

I have been searching and searching for a good, interesting book. Unfortunately, all I've come across are generic witch stories, way too many stories about King Arthur and Camelot, and a bunch of generic vampire and werewolf stories. Does anyone know of any interesting books with an original storyline? I'd prefer something with either a cursed/evil place, something to do with assassins, and/or perhaps something set in the Middle East or Japan. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be so grateful!

Normally when I go on youtube, everything loads fine and I can watch a bunch of videos easily. Within the past couple days however, it's taking me 10 minutes to load a 2 minute video. What's going on? It's only on youtube that I'm having any trouble and I haven't really changed any settings on my computer recently. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get back to watching videos without having to wait 10 minutes?

I have a Maine Coon and a mixed Burmese. The Maine Coon (Bob), though bigger than the other cat, acts as quite the little subordinate. Always let's the other one eat first and just about always loses their wrestling matches. Bob also follows me everywhere. Literally EVERYWHERE. He'll try going into the shower with me! He'll also try licking me when he's really happy and lovey-dovey. Plus, he often lies on his back with his stomach up and paws sprawled out and loves loves LOVES belly rubs. He is one of the weirdest cats I've ever had, and definitely the most physically affectionate. Is it normal for Maine Coons to be so submitting, loving, and affectionate? I love him to death, but honestly, he can get quite clingy and annoying at times.
