  • Am I Selfish because I already think I pay enough in taxes?

As Obama and Biden keep sliding the scale of who they are going to tax, it looks like I'm going to get hit soon. I live in Los Angeles and even with my wife and I bring in a respectable salary, but with the cost of living here we are by no means well off. In fact after we pay all of our bills it feels like we barely get by sometimes. Now according to Obama I am selfish for not wanting to pay more taxes, but wait with the current tax code I already do pay more than someone who makes less than me. I regularly give to charity, but that is my choice. Biden took that away down to 150k a year yesterday. He and Obama have moved that number down from a million. Has anyone else noticed? Where does it stop? My guess, if you pay taxes, you'll pay more. If you don't you'll get your handout. Welocme to the Obama welfare state!!!

  • Will remaining on the ballot in Michigan hurt Hillary's campaign?

I curious to how people feel about Hillary remaining on the Michigan ballot while all her competetion removed themselves in protest. Does this make a Michigan win hollow for her? Does it reflect badly on her for not taking the moral highroad? or is she the smart one to grab the win no matter what?

  • Who is in favor of Government Run Helathcare?

A recent AP Article by Jim Kuhnhenn and Trevor Thompson stated "Nearly two-thirds of voters polled said the United States should adopt a universal health insurance program "in which everyone is covered under a program like Medicare that is run by the government and financed by taxpayers." "

Personally, this shocks me. Have any of these people gone to the DMV or SSA Office? For me it looks like a prescription for disaster, one more government bureaucracy that will spend a lot of tax dollars and deliver nothing but long lines and headheaches. Thoughts?

  • Is a balance of power desirable between Congress and the President?

With the likelyhood that Democrats will retain the majority in congress are we better of with a Republican President? With the exception of the current situation, the country has run fairly well with the power split up (ex. Reagan and a Dem Congress and Clinton with a Republican Congress). Thoughts?
