I have two options to wear fr a ladies night out indoor party and i cant choose between the two.

1. peach-pale pink top, blue skinny jeans - can i wear a light or dark pink cardigan?

2. black skinny jeans , metallic grey top - long black knit cardigan

I am petite, 5ft 3 and wear a size 8.

Department stores to shop for apple shaped women and PETITE?

I have to shop for a good top/tunic for a party. Suggestions on where to shop please, any mall stores are okay.

One more question - What color jeans and what kind of shoes/open-toed heels would look good with a light pink , beige and white top??

I have a Dell Studio laptop which is almost 2 years old now. It just crashed on me yesterday.. with a blue screen, and I tried booting it up with the disks given, but just wont respond.

Now, When i try to switch on, even the power lights dont come on. Can I take it somewhere like Staples for fixing?? Help please!!

My friend works full time and she also finds time to workout about 45 mins a day. But the doc now has asked her to reduce 10 lbs. I guess her eating habits are a problem. She doesnt junk , but maybe goes high on carbs. She says she doesnt find the time to cut vegetables/fruits for salads etc.. Is there an alternative ?

PS- She is a vegetarian - no meat, no eggs either!!!

My son is into chapter books now. His current favourites are Geronimo and JunieB Jones series. Today we brought home 10 books at 7PM from the library. And he read one 75 page JunieBJones by 8 PM. I know he can read but this was very fast. I asked him if he was reading everything and he said yes and quoted many parts of the story to me. I picked out a few pages and asked him a few questions and he was right on dot. I went WOW..

I get stressed quite a bit.. I have tried to control myself lately by doing yoga etc... its much better, but somehow sometime something ticks me off and I feel heavy in my head and very much restless..I tried watching TV, eatng something, took a hot shower.. but my head still goes bang bang..

My 6 year old bites his nails on and off.. I cut his nails once a week and dont allow it to grow.. But then he still bites whats left and the skin around it and its gotten worse recently. He does it whenevr he is listening to someone, or when he is watching TV .. pretty much everytime his hands are still.. I have tried talking to him.. I am sure he is doing it in school in rug time or when he doesnt have to write or color.

Hi, We are planning a trip in April to Orlando. 3 adults and 2 kids ages 6 and 9. This will be our first time. We have 7 days to spare.

How many days do I do Disney? 4 or 5?

One day at Sea world?

Is it worth doing one day of Universal Studio ALSO in the same trip of 7 days? How do I compare Universal Hollywood to Orlando? I want to visit the one which is better.. I may plan a trip to Calif next year!

I dont want the kids ( and adults too ) to drop dead at the end of 7 days.. so I need help from experienced people for better planning.

PS - Not planning to stay in Disney resort due to budget constraint :)

What would you do if your 6 yr old son asks you about your boobs.

My son is 6 and my only son. We moved to a new city recently. We live in a condo and there is a park and a outdoor play area.. Its spring now and I have started taking him out to play. There are kids of mixed age group and he is trying to play with a group with kids of his age and a little older.. probably 6 to 9 year olds.. But he is a little more innocent and childish and the other kids are making fun of him and not including him in the games.. The other kids have been a group fr a long time so they dont like him being a part of their games.. I keep telling positive thngs to him but now he feels very intimidated and is refusing to go out.. He wants to stay indoors and play alone..

What should I be doing?

My 6 year old is a slow runner. Sometimes when he is in a mixed group of kids, I find that 4 year olds can run much faster than him.. Is it a problem? What can I do to help?

Hi, My son is 6 yrs and 2 months old, in 1st grade. I tested his reading level by taking an online test with him. The result says the reading level is 4.5 . How do I interpret this? At what grade level is he reading?

I am 5 ft 2 and 130 lbs. I am trying so hard to lose 10 more lbs, but ATLEAST 5 would be good for me. I am doing dance fitness cardio and stuff and also walk the walk at home for 1 hour a day for the past 2 months. My weight has been exactly the SAME.

I am a mid-thirties woman with very healthy, VERY thick, curly and on-the-frizzy side hair. Since my hair is so thick, I am unable to wear it down loose without tying it up. It looks too much on my round chubby face with a small forehead. I dont need to style my hair everyday since I am a stay at home mom. But I would like to wear it down in style on weekends and when I take my daughter out on birthday parties and stuff. I dont want to spoil my hair by doing a permanent straightening. I do a straightening iron once a week or once a fortnight to give it a neat look, but I still cant wear it down since a bunch of hair is too thick to stay behind my ears it keeps ffalling all around my face and I dont feel comfortable.

RIght now my haircut is a layered cut and it falls just below the shoulders. Can anyone suggest a good haircut which is age appropriate for me and a good way of styling it too?!!
