Steve
Sooo...the sex culture at FOX NEWS, Ailes, and others...requiring SEX for "career advancement," etc. SICK story here, but read it...?
It's nauseating, but this is who many REPUBLICAN white dudes are. When they have power, they find ways of objectifying women, demeaning them, using them...it's sick.
ROGER AILES SHOULD BE IN PRISON.
4 AnswersPolitics5 years agoRepublicans - have you read your party's platform yet? It violates a couple pretty important principals in this country...?
...but the biggest one is this. It basically says that large sums of money can be spent on political candidates by...whoever...whenever...and however...AND that NO AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION CAN CHANGE THAT.
What? So, the 50 states ratify and amendment to the Constitution and Republicans would IGNORE THAT? As in, the Constitution MEANS NOTHING NOW?
Have y'all lost your minds?
8 AnswersPolitics5 years agoAre there are sensible Republicans left? Aren't you concerned about the horrifying direction your party has taken?
It was very hard to watch the hate-filled Trump convention yesterday. So much hate, fear-mongering, and lies. I've never quite seen anything like it. And Republican Steve King basically tried to justify 'white anger,' saying they have contributed to society more than any other "SUB GROUP." Seriously?
I just don't get how this has happened. An entire political party peddling daily lies, race-baiting, fear-mongering, outright racism. It's so sad.
13 AnswersPolitics5 years agoSo, the dude who wrote 'The Art of the Deal' with Trump (well, Trump didn't really do any of the actual writing), says Trump is a Sociopath?
He deeply regrets making Trump look better than he is. Says Trump with the nuclear codes is truly frightening.
Said Trump has a stunningly short attention span. The only thing he can focus on for more than a couple of minutes is...when he's glorifying himself.
Republicans - I applaud those of you who don't want Trump, but I sure hope you reflect on everything your party did LEADING UP TO TRUMP getting the nomination. YEARS of hate, lies, bigotry. It became...the norm. Therefore, your most bigoted followers thought Trump was perfect. Sorry to say, but you did bring it on yourselves.
7 AnswersPolitics5 years agoDid you catch the first Trump/Pence interview on 60 minutes? OMG. What a horror show!!?
Just one of the many crazy highlights:
Pence was asked whether or not he disagreed with comments Trump made where he said he didn’t think Sen. John McCain was a war hero, Trump literally said to the Indiana governor, “You could say yes. That’s okay. On that one you could say yes. It’s fine.”
On national t.v., Trump telling his running mate how to answer a question! Amazing. Like, they were having the meeting they already should've had - but in front of everyone!

6 AnswersPolitics5 years agoDoes this about sum it up?
Pence: 'Muslim Ban disgusting & unconstitutional!"
Later: "I agree with the ban."
Trump: "Hillary voted for Iraq!"
Interviewer: "But your VP candidate voted the same."
Trump: "I don't care."
6 AnswersPolitics5 years agoDid you see that freaky moment in the Trump/Pence interview? It basically went like this:?
Trump: "Very bad decision to go into Iraq."
Interviewer: "But your running mate voted for it as did Hillary, who you criticized for doing so."
Trump: "I don't care."
Interviewer: "What do you mean you don't care? Same vote."
Trump: "Everyone can make mistakes now and then."
Interviewer: "Except Hillary."
Trump: "Yes. Except Hillary."
3 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy did Trump choose Pence? The guy is the most extreme VP candidate ever. Below is just one example of his nasty extremism...?
Obamacare to the 9/11 attacks and threatened to block Hurricane Katrina reconstruction unless it was offset by cuts to Medicare, the National School Lunch Program, and PBS.
7 AnswersPolitics5 years agoI've thought for many years how stupid most conservatives are, how they don't like to read, stuff like that...and it's true, BUT...?
...I think they've outsmarted us on one thing.
Propaganda.
They are good at it. They are steady, unwavering. They will tell a lie all day every day for YEARS if they need to - because they know it doesn't matter if it's TRUE - if the public hear those sound bites OVER AND OVER again, eventually it will BECOME true for many gullible or less-than-informed people.
The "Crooked Hillary" narrative started a QUARTER CENTURY ago. From the moment Hillary Clinton tried to enact Universal Healthcare, Single Payer. They hated that she was a woman who dared to try to get something done. And they hated the notion of providing healthcare to anyone. Period. SO - for over 20 years, they have LIED about her OVER AND OVER again, made scandals where there were none, etc.
AND EVEN SOME LIBERALS NOW THINK SHE'S LESS TRUSTWORTHY THAN F-ING DONALD TRUMP, A SERIAL LIAR RATED THE #1 LIAR BY POLITIFACT, A CON MAN, A MAN WHO HAS BEEN SUED OVER 3,000 TIMES FOR SCREWING WORKERS.
PROPAGANDA. Republicans do it well.
It's sick. But they do it well. Just turn on Fox News for a while and you'll see what I mean. Nice colors, red, white & blue, hot babes, nice lighting, and a STORM OF LIES. I've never turned on Fox and seen the truth, except a short viewing of Shep Smith here and there.
10 AnswersPolitics5 years agoY'all do realize the Republican nominee for President of the United States of America is...?
...a conspiracy theorist, right?
He gets his news from right-wing conspiracy sites then spouts it as if it's true.
He was the first famous BIRTHER.
He thinks asbestos is safe!
Aside from his clear racism problem, and his business failings, and the fact that he's a con man and lies every day - that other stuff alone should DQ him.
11 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWho started the rumor that Trump opposed the invasion of Iraq?
5 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy are so many prominent Republicans skipping the convention? Why are Trump's speakers bailing on him?
There are two living former Republican presidents. Neither will be there.
Tim Tebow said he was surprised to see his name on the speaker list, laughed, and said he wouldn't be speaking.
What's up? No one likes Trump, or...?
4 AnswersMakeup5 years agoRepublicans. Pence? Seriously? I would've thought the Donald would've been smart enough to pick a minority woman to give himself a chance?
Or at least someone more moderate, rather than a bigot like Pence.
Your thoughts?
