does it really only take the words of two people (President, and secretary of defense) to agree to launch our nukes at any nation for any reason? please include sources if there are more fail safes.

i've herd that you're able to play psp games on your laptop but still able to use the psp to control the game..only after researching this, i discovered that most of the link that enable you to do this are no longer good. if you know of a simple way to get this to work, i'd love to hear about it.

i'm hearing different answers of 3% and 5% which one is it?

i'm studying electricity and i'm trying to know what this symbol is. it's a black rectangle. the options this little practice test gives for this symbol are:

A Fluorescent fixture

B. Panel board

C. Motor control

D Incoming service.

i tried looking online for black rectangle but all the schematics say is that this symbol is a light panel or something to that extent which doesn't answer me question :(. your help would be apreciated.

i remember an old story i once herd about some large amount of Germans fighting the allies in the west were sent across Europe during the winter to fight the Russians. during there trip, thousands of them died to to a (if i remember correctly) weather related cause. from what i remember, the numbers were something like 50 thousand German Soldiers. does anyone know if this statement is true? and if you know an estimate of the true numbers i'd like to know as well. thank you.

first i'd like to thank everyone for your help in solving most of this question. however, i'm still stuck on the dang thing. the question was find the product: 4 5/6 X 12/13=? i managed to do the math and came up with 4 36/78 now my main question is this? since the multiple choice answers are:

1. 3 6/13

2. 5

3. 4 6/16

4. 5 6/13

i need to reduce 4 36/78. i know that the 36/78 becomes 6/13 but what happens to the 4? does it get reduced as well into a 3 making the answer #1? or does it increase to a 5 making #4 the correct answer? i know it's simple math but after not doing any of this stuff for 5 or 6 years they suddenly having to do 160 of these isn't very enjoyable :(

please explain if possible :)
