  • PS4 connection issues?

I've recently moved and had a new WiFi and modem set up. I have my PS4 connected through a LAN cable, and it was working fine for a few days. Then i suddenly began getting "A LAN cable is not connected" messages every now and again, but it would reconnect shortly after. Now I cannot connect using a LAN cable at all. ironically though, the WiFi does work when the PS4 is in range, but where I usually play it the wifi does not reach. I've already tried setting the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, but nothing. ANd I've tried any of the other dozen solutions I've found on the internet the last few days, but nothing works. Thank you for any help you can provide.

  • Problems with indifference curves and utility functions?

I'm having trouble with my microecon homework. No matter how hard I try, I can't seems to figure out how to create indifference curves using only a utility function. I don't need an actual answer to the question per say (though that would sure be helpful) but what I really need is to know how to do it on my own. The question is as follows:

    Exercise 1:

An economy with no production technologies has two individuals. There are

two goods, good x and good y. Individual A owns 60 units of good x and 90

units of good y. Individual B owns 40 units of good X and 10 of good Y . Aís

preferences can be represented by the following utility function:

UA(xA, yA) = smallest (xA, yA)

B's preferences can be represented by the following utility function:

    UB(xB; yB) = 2xB (yB)^2

    a. Draw an Edgeworth box where you can represent the amounts of both goods

that each individual owns. Also show three indifference curves for each of the

    two individuals.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

  • Gold ring around eye?

I have a very noticeable gold ring around the center of my eye. I have been told that it may have something to do with the fact that I am of Irish descent, but I have no idea. Does anybody know what this could mean?

  • Which type of bass guitar should I get if I'm just starting out?

I know that I want a 4 string bass guitar, but that's pretty much it. I know next to nothing about basses. For example, how many frets should it have. I've seen some that are 20 and others that are 24. I have also heard that corts are good for beginners. Also, I only have about a $400 budget. I appreciate the help.

  • Where should I buy my first bass guitar?

I've seen a few good ones on both Craigslist and eBay but the thing is, I know practically nothing about them. I thought I could just go to a music store and try some out too, but I don't know which is best for that. I only have about $400 altogether to spend on the bass and amp. I appreciate the help.

  • Do i have Gallstones?

I am a 19 year old male. Last night, at around 12:00, I suddenly developed a pain in my lower right side. This first worried me because my brother had appendicitis and his pain was in the same place. Then I remembered that about a year and 4 months ago my doctor told me that I had "sludge" in my gallbladder. I had never heard this before, but he also pointed out a few other problems I have had for a while, so maybe my previous doctors just weren't as observant. Anyway, the pain lasted for about 5 hours or so, and then just seemed to disappear. When I woke up this morning I didn't have the pain, but it just recently resurfaced after about an hour. I felt nauseous last night and felt like vomiting, and I feel the same way now. I don't have an appetite. I have also been suffering from constipation for about 1 and a half months (which I read can be a symptom) which just recently changed to alternating diarrhea and constipation. There has also been a spike in my blood pressure recently, but I have no idea if this could be a symptom. I'm sorry this is so long, but I appreciate the help

  • High blood pressure, should I go see a doctor?

I recently went to one of those blood pressure checking machines in a Walmart and found out I have Systolic Hypertension I. I know these things aren't entirely accurate, but its actually beginning to worry me. I am a 19 year old male and have had a history of health problems, and I was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation about a year and a half ago. My doctor told me it wasn't too serious but that I should check back in about 2 years. Now that I saw this however, I'm wondering if I should just go back in now and get it all checked out at once.

  • Can anybody vouch for Sheridan University?

I have been looking into schools for animation, and i happened across a list of the "top 100 animation schools in the world" and Sheridan university came up as the #1. I've looked over the website and it seems like a pretty nice school. The tuition is only about $1,200 a term (but i don't know how many terms in a year). Has anybody gone to this school, or does anybody know about this school? Thanks

  • Animation schools in Wisconsin?

I need to find an animation school somewhere in Wisconsin. The reason being, I don't want to have to pay out of state tuition. I've been searching for months but can't find anything. Does anybody have any suggestions? Either a college that offers a degree in (computer) animation, or a school with a 12-18 month program will work. Thank you.

  • Are there any "art" type schools still accepting for spring enrollment?

I know it might be a bit of a stretch, but I want to make sure I go to school this semester. I'm looking for a degree in computer animation, so a school with a strong arts program is probably recommended. Does anybody know of any? Thanks.

  • What degree of artistic ability is required for computer animation?

I recently dropped out of my previous university (For a degree in Chemistry) because I realized that I want to become an animator. I love watching all varieties of cartoons/ animes. The only problem is that I have almost zero artistic ability. I know that it is at least partially necessary, but exactly how necessary? Could I take a few art classes over the summer and get good enough? Thank You

  • How long does it take for an anime to be subbed?

For example, the Sankarea OVA was released in Japan on November 9th, and (as far as i know) the subbed version was released just today. Is it normal to wait for about a month and a half?

  • How can I become a better anime artist?

I want to become better at drawing anime (or anime-like) characters so i can become an animator. Currently though, i really suck at drawing. I was wondering if anyone had any tips they could give me, or suggestions of books to buy or websites to visit. Also if anyone could suggest a college that has a program in computer animation i would really appreciate it. Now before anyone tries to stop me and says that I shouldn't even bother trying to become an animator because it's hard to do, or hard to get a job, i've already decided that this is what I'm going to do. I even dropped out of my last college because they didn't have an animation program so I'm pretty serious. Once again, Thank you.
