I live in Oregon, it's cold in the winter, hot in the summer. We have built a small water fountain/fall and pond. The pond part is 18 by 24 and 30 inches deep.

What type of fresh water fish would be suited for this environment. We were thinking some sort of algae eater, and maybe a couple of fancy gold fish...

Thoughts?

I feel so very terribly un-hip.

Not even sure I spelled it right. But it said it hits women in their mid to late 30's, that's me. It says that we get this need to change everything, and basically get angry with things that we have no control over, that's me too.

Anyone have some good advice to get over this hump?

They are the bumpy crookneck sort. They make a great artistic presentation on my kitchen counter, but I would like to cook or bake them up.

I am a pretty blunt person... I don't mean to offend people, and I would say that people rarely offend me. But why is it that honesty is either loved or hated? But never taken at face value. I am always "refreshing" to people, or "offensive". Can you get a break?

I am cleaning out my closet, and I have a bunch of Bra's and Undies that I don't need. I think it's gross to give them to Goodwill. Is there any creative options for them that doesn't involve hitting the landfill?

I managed to turn off the ability to view what is happening in the DVD-R on the TV screen. Now when I hit function all I get is a black screen. I've tried all the settings in my TV to see if the wrong feed was there, it was working a couple minutes ago... I hit something in the function menu and can't un do it. I can't find the appropriate help in the panasonic.com site. Anyone out there that can take a stab at this?

Also, if you were having a grease themed birthday party, what would you call it?

My neighbor and friend has just had a baby (yay!), but during delivery she dislocated her pelvis. She will be stuck in bed for 6-8 weeks. I know there is the little things that I can help her out with, plus her mom is coming to help. But I was wondering if any other moms out there were confined to bed this long after delivery, and if so what were some of the things that helped you out the most or meant the most?
