About a week ago I noticed my 4 year old Shih Tzu wasn't as hyper as he usually is. He usually follows me around, runs after my young daughters and barks at the window when he sees the kids playing outside. Lately he has just been laying in his open kennel. I also noticed that he shakes intermittently. He has been eating his food and drinking water. His poop is solid. He is up to date on vaccines, rabies shot and I give a monthly heart worm pill. I took him to the vet today and he said that his heart was strong, no fever and when he felt his spine and back legs he didn't jump like he was in any kind of pain. I'm so lost!!! The vet doesn't really know either. Any ideas??!!!!!!

I plan on putting adult only on the invite and no extra guests. I am serving dinner at the reception and trying to save money. I am not rich and have a limited budget. The only children that will be there are the children that are in the wedding which are my 2 girls and my bridesmaids children. Does that seem rude? I would like to get some constructive opinions.

We acquired a dog about a month ago. We got him neutered and also de wormed. He has been having bloody stools so the Vet said he needed a second de wormer to kill them all. I did not know that he was infected. I just found out that it can be passed to humans. My kids have been in the backyard playing on the trampoline where some of his poop was. I make them wear shoes but sometimes they don't put them back on when they come back in the house for water and to use the bathroom. I know they haven't stepped in it or I would have known but this is really freaking me out! Any suggestions on how to disinfect the backyard? How likely is it that my children would get infected??!

We recently got a Shih Tzu from my husbands grandma. He is 3 years old. I think he was in the crate a majority of the time at his grandmas but wasn't locked in there or anything. To my knowledge he did not poop in there. When we brought him home he would hike his leg up on every corner of the house. We got him neutered and he doesn't do it as much. Now he is pooping everywhere. He will even poop in his crate at night. I regularly take him outside and we even go on walks. What can I do to get this dog house broken?? He is a wonderful sweet dog. We have had him for about 3 weeks.

I couldn't find frozen spinach at the store. Can I use canned spinach in the casserole instead?

My daughter is 40" tall and 34 pounds. I know the state requires age 4 or 40 pounds. What is the most important factor. Height or weight? She is taller than most 4 year olds....

I just bought the transmitter so that I can play music from my phone in my car. I keep it plugged in. My car almost didn't start the same day I bought it. I have never had this issue before. I now unplug it when I get out. When the car is off I thought it no longer was draining the battery so it should not be doing this. If anybody knows the answer please let me know what you think.

Just wondering. I have a Christmas club account for the first time this year and that is all that I will have. I usually have help buying their gifts but wanted to do it on my own this year.

I usually cook my steaks at a high temp on a cast iron skillet with kosher salt and garlic. I wanted to try something new and want to know if I marinated them will they burn up on the skillet since they have marinade on them? These are good cuts and I don't want to ruin them.

I was just wondering when my daughter starts kindergarten in August do I stay with her while she eats breakfast? She doesn't have any older siblings that could sit with her. I have never done this before so I was just wondering. Would it be better to just feed her at home before school so she can just go straight to class? I just don't want her to be alone. :(

I usually am the type of parent to whoop azz and ask questions later. ( I don't need to hear negativity about the way I discipline my children) I would like to get some advice from other parents on how to handle THIS situation in a different way that would be the most effective.

I turn the key and it feels like it is struggling to turn over. Nothing extreme though. It turns over within a couple of seconds but I noticed it takes longer when it is below 30 degrees outside. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I need to do? I have had it serviced and the starter is fairly new.

It looks awesome! I really want to purchase it but wanna know if anyone has bought it yet. If so is it as great as it looks?
