2 AnswersPhilosophy9 years agoWhy does a person have to believe in religion to be treated with respect?
Don't you people realize we made up religion?
I'm well aware we have the innate ability to freedom, as any other species.
But to restrict a helping hand to a set of beliefs seems stupid, no sense in sugar coating the facts.
I don't have an issue with religion but religion has a issue with anyone or thing that doesn't believe in it.
As if the sole belief makes a difference in whether a person should be respected.
The whole belief idea is silly in itself. The whole point in believing in something is to convince a similar species that their idea is king and their fellow's is inferior.
Not because it's truth, but because the person believes it so.
Belief is a terrible disease that does more harm than good overall throughout history.
It's also a cure at sometimes too. But not when it's forces a person to commit evil deeds for the sake of it.
An evil is based solely on violating someone's freedom.
IF eating cheese was a religion, and I didn't want to eat cheese, then cheese fanatics would scorn based upon that.
The example is rudimentary but religion is just like that. A set of rules that a group of people follow.
An if you don't follow does rules you aren't respected.
Aren't we better than that?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAm I only one who believes that belief in God is childish?
It seems that people thank what they believe to be a "god" only when life seems "good".
Doesn't it seem that human's who can't rationalize with a clear mind believe in fairy tales?
I think George Carlin had a point, granted he was a comedian. That if a "god" existed he be looking out for you literally not figuratively. Such as providing shelter, food, and "green stuff" that we consider a bartering tool.
But other may argue that if this "god" existed he would allow freedom.
I don't know if people are aware of this but freedom means "the option of all things" whether perceived good or evil.
Somewhere in the middle of this simple logic we have wrote a book called Bible and deemed it truth.
How would we even survive without the notion of "god"?
Actually its not that complicated. the belief of God has caused many problems over than it has solved.
Grant churches donate food, non profits help, prayer reduces stress, mediation makes people happy, and so forth.
The belief also brings about stupidity, lies, illusion, poor people, and dependent entitlement, and the feeling of being above another fellow human being; hence the word blessed.
Even the lesson's we teach our youth are misconstrued because they are based on a ancient text and isn't wholly accurate.
This question will probably bring out theologists, religious fanatics, hero worshipers, and ideology slaves to unchallenged ideas.
Somewhere between all the input we can conclude that the belief does more harm than good.
I rest my case

1 AnswerSoftware9 years agoIs it tacky to wear a white spring jacket underneath a brown winter coat in the winter time?
Is it tacky to wear a white leather jacket underneath a brown leather coat. Where I'm from its cold as hell right now.
Typically if your wearing a leather coat, you wear a sweater, scarf, t shirt long sleeve, and maybe a smaller t under the coat.
But why not wear a leather jacket instead of all that under a leather coat
Opinions or comments please, thanks

Ok here is the problem. Go to www.hp.com and search HP Pavilion Elite m9636f Desktop PC. Thats what I'm using.
At first boot after windows logo I get a blank black screen with a blinking white cursor. That is all.
F8(safe mode, ect) doesn't work, neither does F11(system restore). Otherwise I wouldn't be here asking for help. its beyond that.
I tryed CMOS, and yes both of them
I tryed holding down the power button for 30-60 seconds, doesn't work neither.
default Bios doesn't work neither. Please no advice about safe mode or any other type of non sense ok it the super virus doesn't allow you to get that far.
Listen clearly.
power button to windows logo to blank screen with white blinking cursor.
it absolutely doesn't go any further than that.
no login, no safe mode, no f8 and no f12
although i could add ctrl+alt+delete works but only after logo
diasnostics works too.
Bios will open up.
So it you solved this masterful super virus please tell me.
its some type of super virus. has to be.
Nobody on any of the forum, and believe me I've checked for days and countless hours, has gave the solution. Whoever made this virus had to either had been working for a government or a super geek. No gamer, average programmer, hacker could have made this.
Its a work of art but I need it off my computer, lol.
I know somewhere in internet land someone has the answer.
by the way don't use this space to ask me a question or say probobly its this or that, ok. check the forums blogs and everywhere else. I've been dealing with lazy answer for hours on in already and really don't need another bad answer.
I'm not the only 1 either. countless average joes have this issue too. And you would be doing ALL who has this issue, and believe me its thousands of us if not millions who can't beat this super virus.
