I bought the Nair roll-on wax kit and tried to do an at-home Brazilian wax. It's really messy and I couldn't get much waxed. I was gonna have my friend (who also has no experience) do it on Thursday, but I'd rather have a professional.

However, here are my issues:

it's costly, and I don't want to ask my parents for money, but probably will anyway.

I started my period yesterday and it'll be trickling off by then.

Question:

Is it okay to be at the end of my period if I see a professional? Is that weird or inapropriate?

So, my essay is about how dance has made me a better person: happier, more confident, etc. But a huge part of it is that I stopped cutting when I got into Krump dancing. What's a better way to say "blah blah blah caused me to start cutting, and blah blah blah helped me get past it." ? It seems like the word "cutting" can be interpreted too many ways, and also just sounds really informal.

I'm gonna be there in the afternoon, supposedly it will have stopped raining, but still be in the high 50s, low 60s. I plan on wearing two pairs of black leggings (extra warmth and I can take one off if I need to), a white v neck and a bathing suit top. And combat-ish boots. What kind of sweater or jacket would look cute with that? Or any other suggestions on different top/jacket combos :)
