Are humans faculative quadrupeds?
Here's an example of several people who've became habitual quadrupeds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUYEVL_2wFk[/youtub...
Humans unlike most theropods (which are obligate bipeds due to short forelimbs) have relatively long forelimbs compared to our back limbs which is probably why walking on all fours is possible, but does that make us faculative quadrupeds?
Here's an another example of teaching people to walk on all fours.
4 AnswersBiology1 decade agoHow do marriages between a very religious and very non-religious person usually fare?
I am curious because I am a non-religious person (agnostic-atheist). I am going to get married some time within this decade, and I would want to make sure if it is appropriate somebody like me to marry a theist or devoutly religious person. If not, then I guess I have to stick with anyone but that's non-religious or at least not deeply religious. Please share your opinion and knowledge on how religious devotion (or lack thereof) influences marriage or just dating.
Note: So far I've only dated non-theists (not necessarily atheists). I care more about other characteristics in a person, BUT profound religiousity from my peers has brothered me many times.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat's the minimum clearance height under neath a traffic light?
I am talking about the traffic lights that hang over the streets of most urban center intersections. I am just curious how high the lowest clearances would be. I am guessing around 15-16 feet because the tallest trucks (which are around 13-14 feet) come very close to touching the bottom of the clearance. Could somebody please conform this for me? Thank you very much the help!

3 AnswersTrivia1 decade agoYao Ming has to jump to dunk dumby...his standing reach is only 9,8" ...?
...which means that at best he may be able to reach an inch or two above the rim on his toes. to dunk you must be able to reach at least 4 inches above the rim, so you get my point.
5 AnswersBasketball1 decade agoNot exactly, some small boned may have very long narrow feet...which still means a big shoe size.?
I use to have a friend who's 7,3" and yet only weighs around 260lbs. he's not exactly big boned yet his feet are about 38-39cm long (US Men's Size 21)! very long and somewhat narrow feet. people with long broad feet are big boned. long yet narrow feet=not so big-boned (but not necessarily small boned). btw your feet are the same length as your forearms, so if you have freakishly large feet for your height, it either means that you freakishly long forearms or that your feet are actually longer than your forearms?
