  • How much is a suspicious bank deposit?

    I'm in Canada and my bank is TD.

    Is it suspicious for a 16 year old depositing 4000 in cash? This isn't drug money or anything dirty. It's just money that I've accumulated over 10 months (gifts, selling games, selling my old phones).

    I'm going away for 2 months and I don't feel like lugging 4 grand around with me as cash brings change and I lose change.

  • Nutrition Facts on Rice?

    The nutrition facts on my rice say

    1/4 cup:

    Calories - 160

    Protein - 3g

    Carbs - 36g

    Now, it doesn't specify if it means 1/4 cooked or raw.

    I'm assuming 1/4 cup raw since cooked is just a ridiculous calories/volume ratio for rice. I'm just looking for some confirmation on my assumption so what do you guys think?

    The rice brand is Rooster. Google "Rooster Brand Rice" and you'll see.

  • What time of year is it good to book vacations?

    I'm looking to go to the Dominican with about 25+ people. Around what time of the year are the vacation packages cheaper. We're looking to go sometime in July.

    I'm not looking for sites that I can find vacation packages on as I have several but I just need to know when I good time to look is. I've heard that 4 star resorts were around $600 last year but I forgot what time my family checked.

  • What are the chances of being denied entry to the Dominican Republic?

    I'm 16 years old and travelling to the Dominican with my extended family (grand parents, cousins, uncles, aunts) and their family friends. My parents are not coming along due to work conflicts. I will have a travelling abroad under the care of another guardian form and signed by a notary (lawyer). What are the chances of me being denied entry due to me not having my parents with me?

    I'm only ask this because when I went to Cuba last year and tried to get through customs first with my cousins (parents were taking their sweet time in the gift shop), the customs officer just stared at me and ask me when my parents were like they were going to deny my departure.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
