My computer can't display the japanese language properly, yet it can display most other languages.

The japanese characters appear as boxes.This is a great inconvenience since I have many,many japanese files on my PC and I can't tell them apart.I have tried every possible solution I could find on the internet, such as changing regional language,downloading fonts, changing regions, language pack, etc. but still no luck.

Oddly enough though, I use the zune media player for music, and all the japanese music files are displayed perfectly, whilst on the Windows media player they appear as little boxes

A similar case is with the web browsers.

I usually use google chrome, but as always, it can't display japanese,and I can never read my japanese e-mail

same with windows internet explorer

Yet Firefox displays the language just fine

I am not sure if the web browsers and media players are individual problems or they are from the same source of the problem.

I am quite puzzled since I live in Asia and since I bought the PC from here, all Asian languages were guaranteed to be enabled.

I am using the Windows 7 Ultimate OS

i try to play civilization 5 but during the intro this pops up, the instruction at "0xXXXXXXXX" referenced memory at "0xXXXXXXXX", The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate that program.

WHAT SHOULD I DO

I am using the Vocaloid 2 series' Kagamine Rin and Len.Everything works perfectly until I type in the lyrics above the notes.Whenever I type in a word,regardless of the word I typed in, the default sound (ahhh) will play.No matter what I do the singer will always sing (ahhh) instead of the actual lyric.Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?please help!
