Help me find the name for this anime?
Somewhere in the mid two thousands I remember watching an anime on cartoon network, I can't really remember if it was a movie or series. Anyway the main character was a robot boy. At one point he meets a girl who's trying to help him. . . hide something from a villain? And she talks a lot about her past with her maybe mother or grandmother. She had this special place where she spent time with her grandmother in the past, I think.
So they go there but then it turns out that she was a robot, even though she had no idea. And that the villain had planted those memories in her mind so they'd go there. Then the girl, now in robot form, tries to fight off the villain, or some such thing, and ends up. . . decapitated?
I know for certain that their robot forms were fairly humanoid (as in they had like one piece thing shaped like their hair and the women had tiny waists and some sort of a bust), but in bright colours. There was also this other. . .hot pink? robot girl, I have no idea whose side she was on but she spent some time up a tree. . . maybe taunting the main character? I'm pretty sure she had pigtails. And I think the main character himself had an orang-ish robot body, but I'm not certain.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?
2 AnswersComics & Animation6 years agoHow does this equal zero?
So I'm studying algebra and there's a problem that says -2-3(-2-2)-5(-5+7) = 0
but no matter how many times I try to work it out myself I get 24. Can someone please explain this to me?
1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoHow do I get rid of persistent adware?
From yesterday, a whole bunch of adware was installed on my computer. I got rid of the most of them, mainly home page redirections and a strange search engine. But I've still got pop ups non stop and only on Google Chrome. Somehow I managed to get Internet Explorer clean (which is almost hilariously ironic) but Google Chrome is awful.
I've deleted all unknown files from my computer, I've run CWshredder, Ad-Aware, AVG, Malwarebytes, and Spybot, but they only detect tracking cookies. I've turned off System Restore and deleted all of my extensions. I even reinstalled Chrome but the pop ups are still there.
Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can do? There must be something?
Also he ad source seems to be adsdelivery.com or something along those lines, if that makes any difference.

1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoCan somebody explain the mechanics of landed property?
At around the nineteenth century there was an alarming amount of 'landed gentry' I understand that. Rich fellows, upperclass, etc. etc. The point is their main income was from their estates. How?
I can't exactly understand in detail how property can earn someone's upscale living. I get the general idea but I need a more detailed understanding.

I'm a 5'5 to 5'6 and I don't look bony. But yesterday when my friend realised my weight she said I'm bordering anorexic. I don't really diet either, I just eat what I like. So I guess I'd feel hungry if I was starving myself... Thoughts are appreciated.

3 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoI hit high notes easily, can I still be straining my voice?
I breath form the diaphragm
Keep my chin down
Never force a high note
Yet, I feel a dull burning or itching in my voice box not the throat.
I sang for about an hour today, I hit a lot of e6 and higher in my natural soprano voice. Did I just sing too much, or is it still possible that I am singing the high notes incorrectly? And before anybody starts bitching about getting a vocal instructor, I have one, but he is not available at the moment.
3 AnswersSinging8 years agoDoes someone understand this math problem?
I was given the question:
Let A be the set of all numbers in the form of n over n + 2 (this n part was written in fraction form but my keyboard won't allow that at the moment)
Where n is a positive odd integer less than 50.
What is the product of all the numbers in A?
So I wrote out all of the odd possibilities of the fraction, and I am guessing there is multiplication involved, since the word product is mentioned. But I don't know where to go with this. Do I multiply the fractions together or just the numbers, am I supposed to make an improper fraction out of the numerators? Please only in detail answers, I want to know why and how, to be able to work the problem out. My main problem is the wording, I am a foreigner to these phrases and can't tell what the problem is even asking of me.
1 AnswerMathematics8 years agoI need help with French surnames appropriate for seventeenth century housekeepers?
I have a family in my historical novel. It is set in the late seventeenth century. The name is mainly for two characters one Catherine and her foreign mother Sophia. They live in the Val in Provins France, where Catherine's father side of the family have lived in for generations. The two later relocate to a Compt's home in Albi as housekeepers. The family relocated frequently and these housekeepers with them. Mainly because Catherine was employed as a nanny and was invaluable to the Compt's family because of it.

4 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoWhat would a French Housekeeper's surname be?
As I have repeated numerous times, I am writing a historical. There is an important side story where a housekeeper and her daughter vanished about five years prior to when the story is taking place. The mother's name is Sophia and her daughter is named Catherine. I ave changed these character's names a lot but no surname really sticks. So I'm looking for any ideas.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years agoCritique For My Story? Detailed Answers Please?
Running through a rough draft I found a passage that I really didn't like but it still gets the point across. Can someone critique this, give any ideas on how to make it better. I think the dialogue seems forced and I don't know how to rephrase it.
"Have you heard from Josephine lately?" She asked within one of his pauses.
"No, I'm afraid not. She seldom writes to me." He looked out the window, and then turned back toward Ardellia, "She must be enjoying France." He chuckled under his breath.
"Send my best to her the next time you write."
"She seemed so frail the last time I saw her. I do hope the French air will do her good."
"She is fine, and will be fine. You paint her as a child."
"I still think of her as one." He admitted "She was running around in the grass only two years ago, and driving her nanny to tears. Do you remember her, Catherine was her name?"
"Yes, why?" Answered Ardellia after a few moments. She eyed him curiously.
"I was only wondering what became of her."
The Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Cleureleis and their daughter Catherine had been with the Van Der Argéns family for years, but the Countess was hardly familiar with even their names. Ten months into the former Ardellia Granham's marriage into the family, the mother and daughter disapeared.
"I remember rumours that they had been seen in several other counties. "
"Following in Slater' s footsteps no doubt... Harrison Cleuruleis was absolutely devastated."
"As would any man be, losing wife and child simultaneously."
"He refused to think that they simply left Sophia and Catherine, he was driven mad with the thought." "No, I did not. What became of him Edmund? I haven't seen anything of him recently."
"I recall that he ended his service two or three years ago."
"Oh?"
"Yes, apparently he was to be remarried."
"At that age? To whom?"
"I didn't ask."
My main concern is the housekeeper side story, I really want a better way to introduce it. I'm worried that it may be too much of an information dump on the reader. But, I can't for the life of me come up with something more subtle.
What can you tell about these characters from reading this?
I don't need any rude remarks by the way.

I am writing a historical novel, a husband and wife (Edmund and Ardellia) go to his acquaintance's home in hopes of a desperately needed business proposition. During an evening when Ardellia and the host meet for the first time. He(the host) behaves very antisocialy. Now I have the scene mapped out but Ardellia needs to complain or rather comment on the man's behaviour. Edmund practically worships him and subtly defends and rationalizes, waving his wife off. Read it, and please give me ideas on how I can write out the rest of it. I'm not looking for critique and am unwilling to change any of these events that I have written already...
Heavy footfalls announced someone's entrance. Glancing towards the sound, she saw that Edmund had joined their little group. He took a seat next to hers. Behind him was another man, presumably the host, who went directly to the windows on the western side of the room. He neither sat nor spoke throughout the evening. The day passed, the people eventually scattered. Ardellia and Edmund left for their apartment, with their son and her young brother following closely. In her room, Ardellia was not quite sure of what to do; it was far too early for sleep and the new atmosphere 's unfamiliarity had her nervous and filled with anxiety. She wandered outside and into her husband's room.
"How long are we staying?"
"I am not quite certain."
"Well what of the business proposition?"
"It is fine, all is going quite well." He answered flippantly,
"And what exactly does superintendence entail?"
"Paperwork, archiving, keeping properties in check."
Ardellia needs to comment on their host's insulting behaviour.
