Would there be two metaphors in this quatrain?

I was thinking one for the first line comparing love to a fixed mark, maybe representing a lighthouse

"It is the star to every wandering bark" Shakespeare compares love to a guiding star.

We are writing a research paper over literary devices contributing to a theme in the novel we picked, in which case mine was the hobbit.

Thesis: In the Hobbit, Tolkien uses characterization of Bilbo Baggin's to show the struggle of Bilbo's quest that prevails into a tale of heroism.

Teacher said "THIS IS NOT A THEME. What is he Tolkien trying to say through out the entire book? What is his purpose for creating the book and what is he trying to share with his audience. "

Im 17 year old girl and ever since about the 7th grade Ive had moderate acne. A few pimples here and there, but more recently they just pop up on my chin. Its SO BAD! I hate it so much. I get pimple after pimple. They start out as a sore red bump and then progress into a pimple with a yellow head that is really sore when I touch or mesh on it.

I also have relatively oily skin, I get a lot of blackheads on my nose and the crease on my chin. I notice I get like bumps around my mouth area too. I'm not sure if they're whiteheads, but when I pop them they just come back so I try to not even mess with them (when I do pop them a yellow seed looking thing comes out).

I was using Clearisil's 24hr rapid action acne cleanser and that wasnt doing very much for me, so I switched over to Neutragona's Acne Stress Control Face wash.

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

We had bad weather Friday and my wifi connection on my laptop and IPhone was lost. It asked me to enter the wifi password and I couldnt remember it. Therefore, I did a reset with the button on the back of the router, held it for 15 seconds and now when I go to my wifi settings, my connection doesnt appear. What do .I do? I tried to get help on NETGEAR.COM but since its been after 90 days, they wont help

My employer issued me a global cash card, it's a debit card, and the amount of my check gets loaded on it - since I don't have a checking or savings account. Where can I do a withdrawal?

I tried going to an ATM there at my job ( where it also said on Global cash cards website that it would be surcharge free ) and it tried to charge me $2 for using it. THEN, It declined the withdrawl!

I am for sure the amount is on the card because I checked the amount loaded on the card before I attempted to take money out.

Does anyone else have experience with Global Cash Card ?

I have a very light weight comforter and when it was done washing I forgot to load it in the dryer, therefore it was sitting in the washing machine for maybe an hour and a half. It smells AWFUL. How do I get the stench out of it?!

I have heard of lemon juice and vinegar...but I have a regular top loader and when you begin the wash the door automatically locks so where would I put the Lemon juice or Vinegar? In the softener compartment?

I washed my comforter and I left it in the washing machine for maybe 1hour and a half and it smells AWFUL. I've heard you can put vinegar and it will rid the smell. I have a regular washing machine, but once you start it the door locks. Can I add vinegar straight in or can I put it in the softener compartment? Or what other remedies could I use, and how would I put them in the wash?

I got hired at Brookshires...it's like a grocery store. they asked me if I had a checking account to use direct deposit, I said no I just had a savings account. The lady said they have like a debit card where they put my earnings on. HOW DOES THIS WORK? Can I only use my money as a debit card...not cash?

I've been thinking about getting job and Ive picked up some applications and submitted them. I had an interview at a local grocery store. Ive already been in to do a drug test. So I basically got the job.

Long story short, I'm 16, my parents are divorced and in the summer I go with my dad every other week and its rather boring- he works m-f and Im just there with my step mom. I want to get a job this summer so I wont be so bored and at least have something to do rather than be sitting at home all day. I told my dad about it and he said NO. Because he wanted me to be there when I came to visit. So basically he doesnt want to forefit his visit because of me having a job. And thats why "he pays my mother child support" so I dont have to work. But that is not the point of working. The point of it is to not be bored, be making extra money that I could spend on whatever and save.

What do you think? Or what would yu do?

First there was a low oxygen level, altering the power. Then a fire.....if you were one of them, how would you have handled it?

I was just scrolling through social media and I noticed the screen on the left side seemed brighter than the screen as a whole. I thought it was just air bubbles from my screen protector. It has been raining the past few days so maybe some of the moisture got in, I havent spilled anything on it. What should I do?

I spilt water on my HP Pavilion Laptop. After I spilt it I unplugged it from the charger and quickly took off the battery. But before I unplugged the battery, I saw that the screen started to get fuzzy. Is it fixable or even worth fixing? I haven't tried to turn it on and this happened yesterday.
