I am 20 years old and never learned how to parallel park. I know, it's sad.

I have to go to a birthday dinner tonight somewhere in downtown and all the parking areas require parallel parking. I looked on google maps and there is a public parking (CVS) nearby the location I need to go to and my question is:

Can I park in the CVS parking lot while I am across the street from CVS? I will be at the restaurant there for only an hour or two around 9:00pm till about 11:00pm to the latest. I just want to make sure that I will not get fined with a ticket. Please let me know and best answer will get 10 points.

I have an essay to write here is the topic:

Drugs and Religion. The government has long asserted a right to control and prohibit the manufacture, distribution, and sale of certain intoxicating and hallucinogenic substances under the Controlled Substances Act. But as recently as Gonzales v. Note: this is not a question about whether drugs such as marijuana should be legalized generally. It is a question about the use of a drug in the context of religious ritual.
